The devs have been hinting at there being 'repercussions' to dumping your LI in ME1 for a different LI in ME2.  Basically, here we can post our take on the seemingly inevitable confrontation when the ME1 LI wants you back.

Ashley dumped for Miranda... I put these two together because it seems to me that both have similar outlooks in some ways, and similar issues.

Ashley folded her arms over her chest and glared at Shepard.  "So let me get this straight.  You left me for a woman genetically engineered to be the 'perfect' woman, that worked for Cerberus?  You know what? I was right when I called you a traitor on Horizon, I just didn't realize you betrayed me!"

Miranda rolled her eyes. "If you cared about him, maybe you shouldn't have stabbed him in the back there!"

"Shut it test tube!" Ashley wheeled around on her. "Damn it Shepard, did she put a control chip in your brain?"

Liara dumped for Tali... This is actually my canon playthrough. *shrugs*

Tali wrung her hands nervously as Liara paced in front of her.  Much of the more positive elements of her naivety had been burned away.  All that was left was her possessive almost obsessive side.  It would have been easier if it was someone she didn't like, someone that hadn't been on the original Normandy.  "You... you can't understand all I went through to bring him back, the friends I lost.  Then to loose him again..."  Anger pulsed through Liara. "To you of all people!"

Tali straightened and backed up against the engine maintenance console. "You didn't help him when he came back!  You were too concerned with revenge then to help!  You gave his body to Cerberus! Cerberus... you know what they did to the fleet?  Of course you do... Shadowbroker." As she'd spoken Tali had closed her fists and gestured angrily. Venom filled Tali's voice. "Then when he comes asking for help you say: I have responsibilities Shepard... You bosh'tet, you knew he was coming back.  I had responsibilities too but I promised to join as soon as I could.  Surely you should have planned for his return, or did you bother to hear what Cerberus was planning to do with him?

They are pretty good! Expand on the Ashley vs Miranda and tali vs liara. If I was cheating on Ashley with Miranda and heard ash call her test tube would of laughed out loud, lol that was funny, seriously, expand on them, i want to see the nasty side of tali!

Y'know with confrontation my Renegade Femshep looks forward to making. Kaidan vs. Jacob vs. James Vega. It hope it's as awesome as I hope it will be.

Well, since I don't have Ashley/Miranda one, it will be almost Tali/Liara. Almost. No italic because of length.

- But you said you care about me!

Liara couldn't believe she sees it with own eyes. Sure, she hadn't got many experience in communication with people - with humans, escpecially, - but, after all, it was her fob as shadow broker to notice things.

Instead she spend several weeks on the Normandy helping Shepard with both her knowledge and biotic power - just to enter her lover's quarters in unusual time and catch him with quarian sitting on his lap. Oh Goddess.

- Shepard, - Tali, even with mask on her face, looked confused and lost, - what's going on?

- Let me explain this. I care about you, Liara, - Mark Shepard rose hands in comforting gesture, - But, Tali, I care about you, too. So...

- May I have you both? - Liara finished for him.

Goddess, she knew where it's going. She, Ashley Williams and Mark already had this conversation three years ago. And look where's poor Ash now - right after she refused to do it in Shepard's way Shepard left her on Virmire.

How could she not connect that events before?

But that was another Liara - and if that Liara was finding out about concept of jealousy, this one knew very well what revenge is.

- What... what are you talking about? - Tali rose, looking in turns at Liara and on Shepard, - He.. He couldn't just...

- I'm talking about commander Shepard's unique way to prepare to suicide missions, - Liara calmly told in same intonations that she answered Mark when he warned her about turning into monsters she fights against, - He's got you straight before Omega 4, right?

- Liara, you don't... - Shepard tried to interrupt.

Tali stepped back.

- And he didn't told you that my tour on Normandy straight after Hagalaz, - what, as you recall, happened after so called suicide mission, had... benefits?

Tali stepped back, now standing on low stairs which separated working area of captain's quarters from sleeping one. "Is she saying the truth?" - qurian asked in trembling voice.

- Tali, I...

- Forgot to tell that I had very special dinner with yeoman before? - Liara, again, finished for Shepard.

Tali stepped further, searching fruitlessly for something on her back.

- Wait, Tali...

-... I also had casual sex with unstable biotic just because she suggested it?

Tali shot one last glance at Shepard and left.

- Why did you do this, Liara? - Shepard buried his head in hands.

- To save another girl from being fooled by "I care about you" and being discarded when you'll find another pretty one, - Liara also turned to door and calmly left the room.

- And Shepard, - she looked back through the doorway, - you should know better before cheat on informational broker.

I don't really get the tali one cuz if you have LotSB Liara lets you go without a huge confrontation. I don't really see it happening like that. The ashley v Miranda make a lot of sense though.

Actually you can cheat on Liara, do the LotSB get back together with Liara, then continue your ME2 LI or break it off and get another ME2 LI.  Shepard in ME2 can be a complete playa and do all three actually and Liara

I am looking forward to Ash/Jack confrontation.  Not sure how it will play out, but it should be good.  Soldier vs crazy biotic.

I can't wait for the Ashley vs Miranda fight, just as long as it doesn't affect the Main story.

I will say this.  Liara wants no conflicts or any type of confrontation if you did have a LI in ME2 and got back with her.  If you plan on being unfaithful to Liara, to the LotSB after the SM or you won't get this scene:  On the balcony third interrupt.  Shepard asks about their relastionship.  Liara says she is glad Shepard is here.  Shepard gets snippy about the hacking Liara had Shepard do.  Then Liara will get snippy back about the ME2 LI.  She is an information broker and did find out about it.

After defeating the SB, don't do the interrupt kiss.  Ask Liara about Feron and her.  Liara will say something along these lines, "Jealous, Commander?  You might want to do something about that.  If you ask Liara about your relationship, Liara again will mention that Shepard has someone and maybe in the future they can be together again.  However, if Shepard says I still want you, Liara.  Liara and Shepard stay together but does not want any ME1 type crap again.  

Now even though you get back with Liara at that point, that does not mean you have to break it off with the ME2 LI.  Liara doesn't want any issues or conflicts or confrontation.

And yet "jokes" such as these are probably still considered funny in the 22nd century.

I think a confrontation between Kaidan and Garrus would be quite awkwardly funny, not that I cheated in my game.

And she cant be barefoot while pregnant in said kitchen, which makes her complete worthless as a woman. And when it comes to the catfight everyone so eagerly waits,  I tend to think that the ME2 LI will be the victim of Shepard's philandering ways as it appears that the ME1 LI will be there from the start at the least the VS will, so unless Garrus is your ME2 LI, you might be on love boat, with your first LI before the second one comes back into the picture.

Liara properly thinks you were going to end the ME 2 LI or if you did lotsb before final mission then she does not know, all I know that I failed to keep it in my pants and it ended up parked Inside a crazy biotic and in a cheerleader. Whoops!

I hope they don't short us ladies on this kind of fun. I want to see Kaidan's reaction to Thane! Can you imagine Mr. Mild-Mannered Biotic looking at a green, scaly, dying black-eyed assassin with joined fingers who can blink sideways and regale him of his days snapping lots and lots of necks due to his perfect memory? "My hands close around his trachea. He raises his hand to summon a biotic field, his mouth is open with the intention to scream, but I swiftly silence him. He falls down, dead, never having seen my face..."

Kaidan's reaction to Garrus is almost as fun to contemplate. I think he and Garrus were good with each other, but knowing that the woman he made steamy you-let-Ash-die-for-me-and-now-we-might-be-doomed love with has also gotten it on with a turian? Awkward. I bet Garrus would make some adorably inept small talk about it all. I would kill to see that! *giggles*

Liara has never been the jealous type, in ME1 she even seemed open to sharing Shepard with the VS.
So I really don't see the "repercussions". Hopefully not every romance must folllow the pattern of a victorian novel.

I do.    This is from IF you have a ME2 LI.

Shepard:"I want to be with you."
Liara:"Okay, if you're sure.  But, I don't want to cause trouble.  No agruements, no choices." 

Liara did get jealous of the Consort, if you do that mission after confirming Shepard's attraction to Liara in ME. 

I really don't think Liara is willing to share Shepard with another LI.  I'm tempted to use my tool femShep to test that out, but I don't know if I actually can do that or not.  It was hard enough to cheat on Liara with Garrus.  Then I had to tug at Thane's emotions to get where I could break it off with Garrus.  I may  have got a glitch on it, but I felt guilty about it.  That tool Shep is all over the place when it comes to personal stuff, so I imagine that Shepard completly breaking Liara's heart.
