So I (somewhere) read something about your shep getting into violent and possibly mortal arguments with other party members (though I was incredibly tired at the time) and I need to ask are they really going all dragon age style on me?

Me2 Tali: I trust you shepard
Me3-----
Shep: lets be friends with geth!
Tali: no.
Pulls out shotgun and you kill her.

Please someone tell me its not true and I wont have to deal with party members being idiots.

Garrus: I hate you I want to leave
Shep: Waaaa?
Garrus I disagree with you for no real reason.
Shep: I don't want you to leave, we have to worry about the reapers!
Garrus attacks you.

So could someone explain that to me or at least tell me I'm wrong?

What PLC said; if there are disagreements that turn violent (like Wrex on Virmire), the writers would give us a story reason.

(Though having the conversations you mentioned as random options would be pretty funny.)

She is good as a squaddie. A +25% weapon damage and +15 to health is fantastic. Trust me, I hate her, but she is good for your squad. Thats not saying I want her dead...

True. Eh, I'll have her unloyal and bring her into the final mission. That way I still get the buff, but get rid of her.

Squadmates are idiots when they stay obedient puppies even if Shepard spits into their ideals and insults them. I'd welcome a confrontation with Tali about geth matters, or Samara actually hunting my renegade Shep, or whatever. Makes for a more believable narrative.

Actualy what PLC said is accurate they don't attack you for no reason.   In all those examples you used they had reason.  I am pretty sure in ME 3 if you sell their particular species down the river I am sure they would attack you.  I am pretty sure if you let the Migrant Fleet burn for example Tali won't be to happy about it.

True but in Dao they did not complain at the time until much later like I could cast bloodmagic and they did not care until 5 hours (one game year) later.

As long as it is more like the wrex confrontation then I am good. IF it is true.

You don't have to like the reasoning but it is still there, so you can't say it is NO reason.  But this is a different franchise and different setting.  I am pretty sure your Shepard would have to do something pretty drastic for them to turn on you but I like that the option is there.
