Hey guys, I'm new, this is my first post so forgive me for any ignorance.

I bought Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition for Mac off GamersGate, and it works fine, I'm loving it, and then today I decided to download the extra content. (Note, I haven't beaten the game, in fact I'm not very far, just past my Joining.) Anyways, Awakening installed successfully, (for now I disabled it, waiting to beat the full game) but the other things like the Blood Armor, the Stone Prisoner etc. require me to buy it with BioWare Points?

So, did I do something wrong, or does the Ultimate Edition only give you access to BUY the additional content, not actually play it?

Thanks, and any help would be appreciated. :)

Also, I have Mass Effect 2, somewhere I read that the Blood Armor can be used in that game as well, is that true?

It should give you complete access to everything. As in, literally, the game version that you purchased contains all the downloadable content. You just have to register it all.

I have looked up your account info and see you have Ultimate Edition for PC registered.
You should register your copy of Mass Effect 2 as well.

Make sure your logging into your bioware account correctly, and that its the same one as here.

Refer to this Forum for troubleshooting.

Since you have Ultimate Edition this does include ALL the current DLC. You do not need to purchase further.
(Side Note, you dont need to disable Awakening. Its a seperate campaign)

It's still not working! :(

The Blood Armor works (I can't wear it yet) but there's so many unauthorized DLC that won't work!

Refer to that thread.
There a whole forum of people having issues with Mac Problems. Read further there.

@K-ralz
We have the exact same problem I also bought the Ultimate Edition (MAC). OI think this is our problem but i do not know how to fix it tried emailing support still no reply.

OUR PROBLEM (i think)

check here
http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php

in here my registered DLCs are stone prisoner and dragon armor ( I can access them in game)
other DLCs like dark spawn chronicle, leilana's song etc. that should have been there are not there but instead other stuff are there like Dragon armor for DA2 Lotherings lament and other stuff are there. My point is that only 2 DAO DLC are in my registered DLCs, when i should have all because i have [DAO UE MAC] EA/Bioware should fix this I think. please check if you have the same problem that i have so that we can help each other.

If anyone reads this that can help please message me. I've been searching the net and emailing EAsupport for days and still no fix for me.

Hey guys, I realise this is a very late reply but I'd been having the same problem for a very long time and I finaly figured out a fix.
I had already updated to 1.05 and changed the values in my addins.xml but still dlc at all.. wouldn't even show up as disabled or anything.

To fix it I had to open my Documents folder, find the addins and offers and manualy copy them into the actual dragonage folder.

To do that on a mac you need to navigate to your dragonage app and right click on it and choose show package contents. from there you need to go to:
Contents/ Resourses/ transgaming/ c_drive/ program files/ dragon age /bin_ship/ %USERPROFILE%/ My Documets /Bioware/ Dragonage
Now just copy your addins and offers folder from your "mac" Documents folder to this one.

Good luck, I hope this helps some people out.

I just tried your workaround from the "show package contents", only after the "bin_ship" part, I see nothing like "%USERPROFILE%"...? No folders there, none I could open. Just files...
(Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition DLC Mac (10.7.5) myself)
On the other hand, I did find as you said the "Addins" & "Offers" folders in my regular User/Documents/Bioware.
Now I just don't know where to copy them...

there are a few other folders in there too:
Addins
Characters
Logs
Offers
packages
Screenshots
Settings

I would suggest that you copied the settings folder there too.

There is a version of the game modified to run natively in the Mac OS.  For that version, the correct Tech Discussions forum is:

social.bioware.com/forum/1/category/99/index

This forum is for general non-Technical game discussion.
