I didn't kill him. I would have been a wasting away a great character to either a glorious or not so glorious death. I want a cameo for DA3. King Alistair says he's still alive during Year Seven of DA2, so it isn't a stretch. Frankly I thought the Qunari raid would have been a good time for him to show up with Hawke's sibling. Didn't happen. So for DA3, Mr. Laidlaw and Mr. Gaider, make it happen.

I'd like to see it too. I'm not a fan of Loghain, but it just makes sense. In an act obviously proving the existence of an eighth old god: the Tevinter Dragon of Irony, he got sent to the Wardens in Orlais (which makes sense, since there's two wardens in Ferelden and hundreds in Orlais) and DA3 will very likely be in Orlais.

No. Please no. I like Loghain. After looking at most of the Cameos in DA2, I honestly don't want to see Loghain, because I'm afraid they would ruin him.

DA2 butchered enough of the Origins cast, so NO.

People whine about DA2 not being filled with Origins characters, and then whine about the Origins characters in DA2... interesting...

the dragon age fandom is known for whining, it is not known for being consistent in what it is whining about.

but, that is to be expected, it is a bunch of people rather than a single entity after all...

DA3 will not be DA2. I personally thought DA2 had too many cameos. They should have used them sparingly and gave them more plot depth. Hawke bumping into every other person the Warden knew in Kirkwall was nonsensical. Hopefully they work on it. I still want a Loghain cameo in DA3 as long as it makes sense. Simon Templeman is the sh!t so I'm not sweating. I'm more worried about them butchering Morrigan and the DR/US.

If Dragon Age 3 takes place in Orlais, it would make sense to see Warden Loghain again; it would certainly make far more sense than the Origin cameos that were shoe-horned into Dragon Age 2.

Be careful with your wishes xD

If Loghain shows up again, he will be wearing a super-fashion cool armor and some kind of glooming-incredibly big, but also incredibly light, sword.

What I mean is... I prefer strong and charismatic characters as Loghain out of the "new direction". I don't think they fit in. DA2 cameos were unnecessary.

Since he's such a Ferelden patriot, why would he show up in Kirkwall, or anywhere else for that matter? Loghain, I think, wouldn't care about Qunari in Kirkwall or Mages and Templars. He only cared about Orlais. Now if he was a Warden, yes, I can see a cameo, but not much different from Warden Alistairs or something.

If there's a war between Orlais and Ferelden again, I expect Loghain to abandon his Warden duties and return to Ferelden to help defend against the invasion.

I really want to see how much of a tactical genius he really is.

Er, the only way he can be alive is if he's a warden.  It's either warden him up at the Landsmeet, or behead him.  And Quentin's not around to fix the latter.

Gah. I don't. I like Ferelden and wouldn't like to see it under Orlesian control in less than 10 minutes.

Isn't that what I said? I want Loghain to show to us how tactical he really is. We keep hearing about how he's a tactical genius and how he won battles all throughout the Bannorn in the civil war, but we don't see it.

He's apparently the reason why Orlais was pushed back and driven out.

If there's a war and Loghain's alive, I expect him to have a few cameos where he talks about strategic battles to be.

Loghain fails for 2 reasons in DAO. The Warden, whom fate would have us believe is a demi-god. And because Loghain got sloppy by playing politician instead of soldier.

If there is another Ferelden-Orlais war I'd like to see how he, Alistair, and Anora would get along. A lot of tension in Denerim's Palace War Room.

The sad thing about Loghain is that if you take him to Ostagar he says he'd do it all over again if he could.

Granted, he doesn't yet know about the importance of the Wardens in the Blights at that point, but still.

I'd like to see Loghain in Orlais flip a table upon hearing about the invasion they are planning on Ferelden, making him ragequit the Wardens and ride back to Ferelden to possibly assist in it's defense. Anora possibly gives him back his position as General, maybe.

Same here Dave of Canada. Hell, have him also punch an Orlesian or two who talk about "mongrel dog-lords"

Orlais going up against Ferelden armies led by The Warden and Warden Loghain? They don't stand a chance.

Well, the Warden's gone by this point, remember? But Warden Alistair is a decent commander imo.

Can he kill a few chevaliers in an epic horse pursuit too?

On a serious note, I'd love to see that happen.

[My Mage playthrough] Hardened Alistair and Anora at the throne, General Loghain sitting by and giving orders and the disappeared Warden cheering from Maker knows where. Equip cool shades immediately, Orlais is screwed.

[My Cousland playthrough] Hardened Alistair and Anora at the throne, Ferelden's forces motivated by Loghain's sacrifice at Fort Drakon. An echo in the distance of Loghain yelling "ORLESIANS" can be heard, though some wonder if it's maybe the disappeared Warden.

As far as Chantry intelligence is concerned, Ethereal. Leliana suspects that The Warden's disappearance is tied to the same reason as Hawke's, but it's not absolute.

Also, as far as Loghain's comments at Ostagar, I don't blame him for thinking Cailan would have made a mess of things, especially given the revelation about his plans to marry Empress Celene.

Just to be clear, when I say Warden Alistair, I mean that he's Warden King Alistair.

Ferelden apparently rallies behind King Alistair according to Aveline (which speaks more about him being king than anything else).

He apparently still fights the Darkspawn since there's dialoge with Eamon about Alistair fighting, even if Loghain was spared.

He can give a rallying speech to all the soldiers.

He just strikes me as a decent commander at least.
