When was that ever said? The Warden had around 30 years to live after Duncan's recruitment. While yes, the continued running into Darkspawn and fighting a Blight would probably have shortened that, I have to wonder where you've got the notion from that they'd gone to their Calling after the events of Origins.

I'm not sure what you mean here. What exactly doesn't correspond with each other on this subject?
