I always let Varania live. As bad as she was for selling him out, she is Fenris' only living relative.

Plus I like to think she becomes Feynriel's apprentice when he becomes a Magister, and she too becomes a Magister. They end up toppling the Imperium and making it a happier place to live.

Yea, that's what David Gaider said. The master / sex relation was intimate, and that Danarius put an extra dose of lyrium in special places (ok last part I made up).

And horrible. But yes that would be awesome for a "this will be your fate if you don't tell us what we want to know." scene. Maybe the non-mage will be Lily from the Magi Origin to hammer it in.

Each time Fenris lays with Hawke, he's thinking at the back of his head... "Danarius was better". It's why he runs away for years, he doesn't want to look upon Hawke and yearn for Danarius. It's why the romance only continues back in Act 3 after Danarius (and Decimus for his secret love affair) has been slain.

God, I know this is all hypothetical but... Having the scene play out differently depending who you support could also be amazing, where you're in Aeonar to free the blood mages to assist you (mages) or you're there to make sure the mages aren't going to free them to help them (Templar).

If you thought the Danarius/Fenris thing was bad, wait until you hear why Orsino's staff was called the "Staff of Violation."

You know, there's been some joking about that post but one part I found really odd that no one mentions is that bit about Sebastian's story originally being for Nathaniel.  What?  Beyond the fact that it's just incredibly brutal slander to Nathaniel, how are they alike in any way?

you sided with the mages, though there would be a point where you
learned that he was bffs with Quentin. He kind of implied that you could
have then chosen to fight him, but basically that the Orsino battle was
not originally there. The only reason why Orsino turns is for gameplay
reasons. (They wanted another boss fight.)

We've gone waaaay off-topic but... do we know if Meredith was always supposed to be a boss fight or was that also thrown in for those who sided with the Templar? Relic tells me no.

I would guess that she was always meant to be a boss fight, since that's the only way the lyrium idol was implemented.

I'd prefer that to be honest. So I can reach the ending faster.
