Im trying the help people with their DLC probs. Now we know that the european psn servers have FINALLY registered all the free dlc (thanks to the techs btw) but ive been talking to a few people who are still having probs with their DLC not showing up. I thought of a reason why this might be:
If you are using an imorted copy DO NOT redeem your codes on the european psn. THEY WILL NOT WORK. They codes will only work (ie you get the DLC for free) if you create a psn account from the same country that the game was imported from.
Sorry im just thinking out loud but its something to go on i suppose. If you have already used your codes and nothing is happening feel free to use this thread. Bioware do read these and may be able to offer help. Anyone who has used codes will have it tied to the social site so they can easily see whos meant to have what and can maybe offer new codes?

There's a solution, however. Just writing to tell you I fixed this problem! You have to create a North American PSN Account, preferably under a different User in your PS3 since different accounts in the same user create conflicts with online games. Keep in mind having an account from a region that's not yours is against Sony's policy. Just don't rub it in their faces and you should have no problem.
Once I did this, I created a new EA account and associated it inside the game with the newly created North American PSN account. Then I went to Live Chat with the support and asked them to fix my problem. Don't send emails, I've sent several during the course of last week and have yet to seen an answer. Live Chat is the good choice here, since you'll be talking with a living person within 25 minutes for as long as it takes to solve your problem.
You might need to be persistent on the subject because the live chat technician might not understand your problem at first. I had to redirect him to a forum thread where a member of the Bioware team had posted regarding the problem (that would be Jason Leong, thank you Mr. Leong) to prevent him from upscaling the whole thing.
Eventually he just activated the codes on my other account (the EA account linked with the North American store account) as I asked and I was able to download the content easily. Good luck.

After much faffing around and even setting up a Hong Kong account without success, I decided to check my other accounts (I have US and Japanese accounts). Hey presto, when I logged into my US account and started the game, there were all my unlocked items in the downloads screen.
Once downloaded and installed, I returned to my EU account, and the items where there in the game.
As for the blood dragon armour, I put the code in on the site here and that also was on my US account, but once installed, appeared in my EU game.
So in summary - it looks like it doesn't actually matter which account you input the codes into, but they will only show up for dowload under a US account, but will still be in the game regardless if you play the game under an EU account.

This worked for me to. Except I didn't create a new EA account, I just logged in and changed the e-mail to match the PSN US one. After you download the DLC you can use it with your regular PSN profile.PTav wrote...
Actually, Forbidden_Echo, I couldn't get to download any DLC at all from the European Store.
