If you like Legion's widow, maybe you should try wielding it yourself as an Infiltrator? Very fun class.

I've only played as a sentinel on my play-through (this spelling really looks odd! is that correct?) so I don't know where to begin next. Any suggestions? I really liked being a major tank, but I wouldn't mind a more offensive type next.

Currently I am going to replay DA: Origins, because I really want to play as a rogue in that game. I might cram DA: O and ME 2 into my schedule.

We really did awesome in the reaper fight. During the entire suicide mission I used only 1 medi-gel, and it was on Thane. during the fight, I saw legion hit harbinger with the widow, and I swear, I saw half (maybe more) of his armor go down instantly. Very powerful weapon.

About Legion.  This video clip is at 0.25 speed so you can see how much damage he does to Harbinger

Legion vs Harbinger Armor     6 sniper upgrades, squad warp ammo, xbox insanity.

He takes down at least 1/2 of the armor, the second clip looks more like more, but his drone helps a little.

Sniper rifles, SMG's and Pistols. You can get the Widowmaker, Shotguns or Assault Rifles on the collector ship. I can't decide whether I prefer the Widow Infiltrator or Shotgun Infiltrator.

I didn't bother to play as a Widow Infiltrator bc I had done a Widow Soldier... who is arguably easier to use as a sniper anyway.

Just depends on what you want to do. If you are planning on doing a Vanguard, you might not want to do a CQB infiltrator, that is unless you want to play infiltrator twice.

All in all most configurations can be fun to play, just depends on what you want to do.

The difference between the Sniper-Infiltrator and the Sniper-Soldier is that the Infiltrator always has his/her sniper cooldown, and the soldier has to wait three seconds per shot if he/she wants cooldown. Just because the Soldier does the most damage per shot doesn't mean that the Infiltrator is bad - keep in mind you get Incinerate aswell (I LOVE Incinerate.)

Yeah, the slowdown makes sniping much easier...Viper becomes a monster in the hands of Infiltrator Shep.

Which is why it's hard to justify picking the Widow even if it's so visually satisfying to watch the enemy fall over.. Viper + Cryo simply blows it out of the water (IMO). And this way you get shotguns aswell!

I have all the DLC so I have the burst fired sniper rifle (which I really like!). I forgot its name. I'm already about 6 hours into DA: O. After I beat that again (just to good of a game), I will probably play ME: 2 again.


It sounds like infiltrator is a great class. You can cloak, right?

Basically I like the Viper as one of my favourite guns in the game.  Ended up using the Viper and Vindicator on my Infiltrator.  Didn't use cryo though, disruptor and AP.  I don't need a slow down to hit things though, so I wouldn't necessarily only use the Widow on adrenaline rush.  The main advantage of the Soldier is that you also get the Vindicator to pair with the Widow.  I agree with the comments about incinerate... which is why I mentioned I probably ended up using it more than cloak by late game.

Used squad cryo with my Viper Vangaurd though (although I was personally running Inferno except on Geth missions where I would use cryo as well).

Yes, you can indeed cloak! Cloaking makes the enemy "not target you" and focus on your squadmates instead. This makes picking squadmates with higher survivability a priority if you're a defensive player. Cloaking can be used defensively(running away), offensively(running in) and as an adrenaline rush substitute (It's not stellar at this, since enemies tend to take cover when you cloak. )

The most important aspect is the sniper slowdown. Everytime you scope time slows down and it makes it easier for you to take shots at the enemy. It's my favorite class so, I would definitely be happy if you tried it.

And the Incisor is fun to use but it's not all that effective. If you plan on making your Sniper Rifle your workhorse you will run out of ammo and stay out after the first two enemy encounters. Looks spiffy though.

Be warned that cloaking does not break lock-on of weapons that seek... for instance if they fired a rocket at you and then you cloak, it will still track you.
