Meredith has more character development than an unrecruited Loghain does in DA:O. And acts more reasonably, too.

I'm talking about all sources.  I agree Loghain was used in Origins as your "easy to kill" villain, for the casual player who didn't want to know any more about him but just wanted to beat the game and feel they got to kill the bad guy.  Mary Kirby has said as much.  But if you want to understand him, there is much, much more available to you to do so.

All Loghian does is decide to go Mwahahahahahaaa Evil and ignore the vast hordes of monsters eating half his country because he's afraid of the Orlesians hiding under his desk.

With Meredith, at least there are Blood Mages hiding her desk.

I said something about that in my post.

I have no sympathy and see no reason or cause for sympathy for either Meredith or Loghain.

Meredith's sister was a mage. Take it from there.

How did you find that out?

Side with her in the beginning and she will tell you about her sister later in the game. If you don't want to play it someone posted a video with that dialogue on youtube, I watched it there. If you search for why meredith hates mages(I think it was something like that) you will find it.

I didn't know that.... I guess I have never sided with her from the beginning before. I will have to do that in one of my next playthroughs. Interesting, very interesting.

Meredith had a few moments when i thought i could get her to see the light but in the end she was just bat s... crazzy. So i had to put her down and i still feel i was in the right for doing so.

As for Loghain on my final cannon warden play through. I felt really bad killing loghain but i couldnt turn on Alistair who had been a true friend and never betrayed me. I really wanted their to be a way to save Loghain with out lossing Alistair tho. I feel that Loghain really did think he was going to lose every thing he worked for if he didnt do some thing. He was scared to death of Orlais to him they were worse then the blight.

...what time is it where your at? That may explain why you thought necroing a YEAR OLD topic was a good idea

It is relevant since it is against the rules and always gets topics locked. And it is also common sense to, you know, not bring up a topic that has been finished a year ago. Not rocket science.

So your saying in order for me to put in my 2 cents i have to make a new topic. Seems rather pointless to make a new topic when there already is a topic about it. Most forms dont want a flooding of the same topic so i tend to avoid making topics if one already exist.

If a topic is a year old, yet not repeated multiple times, then it is fine dude. You open up a conversation that has been had once only and was a year ago. While wanting new opinions and have new debates with new people. Instead of replying to, and talking to people who would most likely have differing opinions than from what they had before.

And it will follow the rules and the topic will have a much less chance of getting locked than this one now has :).

Uh I still hold the same opinions on Loghain and Meredith. . .

I don't see what the problem is.

For the multiple reasons I have already said. It really isn't a hard concept to grasp.

"Necroing old topics=pointless which leads to topic locked.

What does it matter if a topic is locked if no one is replying to it anyways?

Except it was by it being necro'd. Seriously how is this such a hard concept to grasp? Here I'll help you understand it better: http://tvtropes.org/...readNecromancer

Look I get why replying to an old topic is generally not the best thing to do but considering that this thread is relatively short and no one here got into a flame war with each other, I don't see what the problem is for someone to leave a comment. This thread is more likely to be locked now that it has gotten off subject than from someone reviving it.

would have most likely happened either way.
