I see you pal, ... being a GrammarFascist I hate it if marketing changes game designations/categories ... tends to be a baaad sign.

Bolded and underlined everything that is (or might be) ME3 related, including a stream from EA that starts on the 16th

I abandoned that ship longggg ago. Just enjoy it for what it is: A fantasy-action game. Note that I said fantasy because everything is explained with magic and not science.

*Game is not acknowledged as an RPG with huge, red letters*

OH NOES! RUINED FOREVER!

Seriously. I've never seen people whine and moan over something so trivial, just because of something the marketing department of EA (which has nothing, absolutely NOTHING to do with the development of the game, I might add) happen to spurt out.

To add to this point: because the first Mass Effect was pure hardcore RPG, right!?

No one is whining, I am perfectly content with it not being an RPG now. The rough transition from ME1-2 had left a terrible taste in people's mouths and DA2 did not help (even though it was not done by the ME team, it sill affected Bioware's image). I don't think this is a thread to discuss that, though. I for one, am really excited for Gamescon. Heres hoping there is a new demo.

I did, and it completely ignores the first game's codex. Again, I refuse to argue this here.

It's just a marketing term.

Is The X-Files not a supernatural cop drama because it's called "sexy"?
