After I defeat Arishok, the game wouldn't move to the cut scence. I received a huge amount of exp and was able to level up. But he just and stood up and still tried to attack me. I would still receive damages if he rushed and tank me, but otherwise receive no damages.

Besides this, Arishok also had a communication sign on him. But when I clicked on him nothing is triggered.

I've gone through this three times already. Need help.

Have you tried loading an earlier save and then playing up to the duel and completing it again? It might just be a corruption related to that one particular save

I had that problem too OP, not one answered me..

Arishock attack after the duel has ended:

My character didn't recive any damage, Arishok misses all the time. I had to delete the character, last save was biggining of act 2.. lol

After started a new character, merril mirror quest "Talk to merril" never came up so I had to hit the gallows and finish the game without her destroying the mirror.
Now I am starting new mage run.. I hope I don't get this bugs again.

I reload the save that I first stepped into Hightown after Qunari attack...... and still get the same issue. Huntress' picture is exactly what I get (thank you ma lady). It gets stuck and doesn't go into cutscene. I could see Arishok's life bar keeps going between zero and minimal recovery. He continues attack with a communication sign on top of his head. None of my offensive skill works so I could not kill him again, nor to kill myself. The only fun I got from it is to use Arishok to play human bowling... oh, and the experience of defeating Arishok. After defeating him so many times, now it's like walking a puppy in the park.

I have another save way back to the beginning of Act 2... But that is a long way back. I don't want to use it, nor to play from the very beginning only to find out I'd get stuck here again.

Looks like a rare disease among the DA player. Really need a remedy.

There must be some way to force trigger the cutscene with all decisions saved...

You could try console commands to force past this point, but this kind of problem suggest that something is wrong with your game files. I would try a fresh install. You can keep your saves and start back at your last save.

sami jo. I tried reinstalled, didn't work. I tried re-setup, no use either. Do you know how or where I can find the console code for Ariskok cutscene? I believe I've seen it once before but couldn't find it now.

I rarely use the console, so I don't know it offhand. I would try the dragon age wiki first. If you saw it on the forums, you can try searching for it using one of the standard search engines (google, yahoo etc) with a site re-director (site:social.bioware.com, search terms). The search function on this site is beyond useless. If anyone else knows what it is or finds it, please post back so others can find it easily.

I've decided to delete it and start from scratch.

Playing a humorous Hawke at hard level. It is indeed harder. Could be fun.

But if stuck again, I may need to borrow someone else's save from Act 3... sigh.

You should post up what mods you run or if you're running mods. Sometimes those love to conflict with the gameplay.

Things like this happen if you attack a NPC too quickly.

Try waiting to attack by dodging the Arishok's initial rush. The battle should end normally then.

A similar scenario happens if you attack Meredith too early. She gets down to almost zero HP then becomes invincible, and the cutscenes with the statue animating never runs.

It didn't repair anything.. i waited for his charge and then run around for 10 second nothing the end is the same, he gets up and attack. only happens sometimes but it is annoying, the file probably corrupted, thats why i do the dlc's at the end of act2 because the bug's.

happens once before with my rogue now is the mage, both at lvl 18 or 20. crap I like this mage lol. I'll start a rogue can't start another mage this soon lol.
