It's suppose to have all the various lines show up right?
Mine do not show, I just realized, after couple play throughs, wondering why I never got the helmet, that this room only has 1 line showing.

I see no extra lines for me line up to unlock the area I need for said helmet.

I'm going to guess you haven't turned on the other three Nexus nods at all.

When you explore the floor completely, you will find nexus nodes like the one you turned on to get the amber beam. Once you turn them on, one at a time works best, you will get the other three beams.
I never thought that I would be able to solve this riddle. I am absolutely hopeless at spacial relations and not really all that clever. I tried watching a video solution, but it only confused me worse. So, I went into it carefully, saving in a new slot before I began and resigning myself to the possibility that I would have to reload if I screwed it up. I only needed to reload once because the cat walked across the keyboard at the wrong moment and closed the game. The fact that you can go back and move columns that you have already positioned helps. In other words, all it takes is patience.

You are correct sir. I really need to stop playing Dragon Age 2, while having whiskey drinks, but sad thing is, it's only time I want to play this game
