I recently bought a new laptop and installed ME2 on it but my computer claims through a pop-up that it didn't install correctly. I opened a new game and it started fine so I thought it was just a minor bug but when I started re-installing my dlc that pop-up that claimed the game wasn't installed correctly would pop up every time.

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this sort of problem and what happened? Can I just start playing normally? It would suck if I played for several hours before discovering some miniscule detail was wrong.

Windows  7 home premium
Intel® Core™ i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GH
Clock speed: 2290 MHz
Physical: 597GB
VRAM: 1,50GB
nVidia GeForce gtx560m
DirectX 10.0

And I think my computer has 64-bit.

I think the pop up is just Win7, being an idiot. The game wasn't "designed" for Windows7 and so it kicks the pop-up. I have had the same issue on a couple of games I am putting on my new Win7 machine and so far no issue with play, just the stupid popup.

Confirmed as Win7 being an idiot.

My Win7 64-bit idiot pop-ups stopped after I turned off UAC and started running all ME2-related stuff as admin. Might just be coincidence though.

It's not popping up each time you play, is it? Just during the installs?

yes, just during the installation of the game and for the installation of each dlc.
