What I don't understand is if people don't like this game why bother live on these forums day in day out just to whine? I mean OK we get it some don't enjoy DA2, but they're the same ones who can't put the game down. Still playing the game to come up with more stuff to nit pick. Seems most have waaaay too much time on their hands. lol[/quote]

ilu! Let's be bffs and hold hands and such.

Obviously, it's because they get "cool points" if a Dev comments on their thread and they can brag about how they got the nifty bioware clicky on their post.

My point is, DA:O has flaws but it was obviously better implmented, and not rushed. The sales numbers don't lie. These are my opinions, don't like 'em, that's tough,

First, sales figures do lie.   Sales figures will say that Planescape: Torment wasn't nearly as good as Icewind Dale, which I sure as heck am not going to accept.

Second, if you stated your opinions as opinions instead of facts, you'd get less pushback.

Third, 'better implemented and not rushed' has nothing to do with anything previously discussed in this thread.

I came here to vent, if you can't respect a differing opinion, why join the thread?

Because this is a discussion forum, and not a venting forum? :?

Discussions can include venting.  And if you don't like the venting, there are other threads.

Telling people to not discuss on a discussion forum seems silly to me.

If you don't like it, there are other threads you can go vent in as well. I don't think your reception at any of those will be much different though. :?

I didn't say you couldn't discuss in my venting thread, many of you have; I don't mind. But complaining about my venting because you hate the content of my venting is Edit: that's even fine, but you should respect my opinion, and my right to express it.

You should extend the same courtesy to those you call "fanboys" then. Why should they have to respect yours if you don't respect theirs? :?

I admit, I got agitated after someone called me dense for disagreeing with them. But this hasn't been a one-sided affair. I'm sorry for calling you a fanboy, but I had plenty of names slugged at me.

Yes, more quests like Slim Couldry's would be very welcome. Have a whole line of quests like those for the different skills (while also allowing for skills to be used in other quests, in meaningful ways).

At least like that it would feel like your skills really matter and make a difference.

Though there should be mage only and warrior only quests as well.

Agreed. I liked the Slim Couldry quest line, but it was a shame that you could only get it as a rogue.

No.    Any character can get those quests.  You just had to have a rank in stealing.  And that's the beauty of  it all.  Skills opened up opportunities in the game.

No, the fact that you are playing the victim and pretending that no one understand you and how everyone else is in the wrong slightly annoys me. It is also slightly depressing and makes me fear for the future of the human race.

Oh yeah, that's gotta be it. I could have cared less if Bioware responded. It was nice to get off my chest.

The funny thing is, that goes both ways.

I haven't seen anyone denying your opinions. I have seen people attempting to explain to you how DA2 had choices and how DA:O's choices were not impactful and address several other points of contention. I have also seen you ignore all that and complain about how people are attacking you and how anyone who doesn't agree with you is a fanboy. So...Yeah, you don't want to discuss anything. You want to complain.

You nailed it. Further to that, ladies generally do not like being called a "fanboy"...but I admit I'm only speaking for myself.

So, you don't care about hearing their side of the story, what they meant, etc.; you just want to complain about what you think they meant?

You asked for clarification. In fact, in my very first post, I agreed with you that there needed to be more clarification in the BioPR. You got clarification. Now you're saying that you don't care?

Oh please, the whole tone of your OP is how Mike Laidlaw is destroying something you love and how you demand answers. Then, whenever someone attempted to question you, so accused them of being fanboys and twisted their words to say they were attacking you and your opinions. You are a troll, simple as that.

That's really unfair and one helluvah blanket statement. I'm on the "I like DA2" side of the fence, and I had very interesting discussions here with people who don't or have radically different opinions than mine on specific points.

In your so-called attempt to explain why DA: 2 was better you were also arguing against my opinions, that's just the way it works. You were arguing with my opinions because you didn't agree. It isn't rocket science. I heard your opinions, and rejected them...as you did mine. Disagreements are a 2 way street. I few of you still on here agreeing with anything I said, or even trying to. It's either Dragon Age 2 roxors or you suck/just don't understand w you guys.

Precisely, do you need me to hold you by the hand and tell you why it was ironic?

No its not unfair. They just caught 25 more cool points for themselves. /snark - Sorry I had too

My opinion of BSN and maybe mankind has been lowered by one trillion cool points.

A "strong personality" isn't an excuse to be rude. If hoorayforicecream thinks your tone has crossed a line, then I'm sure it has. You have an opinion, that's fine! Being civil in expressing that opinion is one of the rules of this forum, no matter how "strong" your personality is.

You can make games more accessible, but why did Bioware decide to strip many of the elements found in origins.
Such as removing the ability to change party amour and smaller skill tree options.
Stripping away elements doesn't make a game more "accessible"

In fact that's a pet-peeve of mine. People who call people trolls because they disagree. The worst.

That'd be funny if I were the only one being rude. I was trying to moderate the thread with a nice tone, to keep the ad-homs to a minimum.
