What is with the dork fest for Tali? Seems like anytime someone brings up that they either do not like Tali, think the Geth would be a superior ally (militarily) to the Quarians, or ANYTHING that could be construed as not liking a VIDEO GAME character....a small group of Tali loving, g-string wearing geeks come out of the woodwork to defend their VIDEO GAME friend.

How anyone could be so enthralled by a chick in a mask, with chicken feet that comes from a culture of gypsies is beyond me. Dont get me wrong, she is a solid squack...I mean squadmate with her mechanical/tech skills but the overwhelming freak fest associated with that character reminds me of the same people that get off on tentacle hentai.

Actually it is a legit question. I dont hide behind politically correct, bogus BS. If you take it as that, fair enough (I do see why you would). However, I simply am interested in why this character is so amazing and a source of flabbing for some.

I'm a Tali fan and I just like her character nothing more to it. you would get the same defensive nature from any character fans really. It's just more noticable with Tali fans because where the largest. Which also makes us the easiest target was well.

This is a solid answer and makes sense. Lets be honest though, those two you mentioned do not even come close to generating the flame wars as Tali does. Thus my original question. It's almost like people are ACTUALLY attracted to her IRL. As in, they put their hips up to the screen when she is talking and pump.

You have something to say on the subject, I (basically) dare you to explain it. I have no need to hide behind BS, I say what is on my mind and the Tali love fest is disturbing because it is seriously hardcore. I am not the person who should (and ever would) tell a person what to do with their spare time and what to like, I am simply trying to understand the logic because:
1) I am interested
2) I am bored
3) SHE HAS CHICKEN FEET AND A GOD DAMN MASK!

LOL I don't see a Legionmancer or a Mirandamancer ect.  Its Tali.
Its a crazy fanbase bordering on obsession and some of us honestly don't get it.  If you take it so personal thats your own problem for finding a fictional character the end all be all of your enjoyment.
