Back in the day there was a guy that created a life size Tali doll (LOL) and another who created a thread wondering what Tali's sweat smells/tastes like.

Some of the Talimancers did take their fan devotion to creepy extremes. Honestly, I think they've calmed down over the years. They were at their worst between ME1 and ME2.

Im a Talimancers that is to say she's my Canon love interest. Personally, I think tali is a great character now if you don't agree that's fine with me . I'm not going to argue sure there are plenty of Talimancers who would fight you to the death over it.

But it seems to me that this thread was made for the sole purpose of creating some sort of blood war again and when incited some people are always going to take the bait. That's just the way it is.

The reason I say I will not post them here is because I cannot. If you want to find out why people like her character, you need to go read the 65000+ pages her support threads has had in the past to understand. Attempting to explain something in one post would not only be inaccurate, but idiotic. There are many reasons to like characters, Tali included.

Who says it is a love affair? These threads you get your information from are not written with pure gold on the clouds of truth. You need to get the facts straight before you start attacking a group with libel. If you would take my suggestion and read through some, not even all, of the previous threads (I will even link some to you should you request) you would see that exageration is not exempt from the internet for drama.

I've always found her a bit irritating.

I think that's just due to the fact she cost me the No One Left Behind achievement in my first play through rather than anything personal. Even though I got her upgrade and didn't get her exiled and didn't let slip about her dad, had to have her in my squad to prevent her from dying in the end.

Now this is a great response. Logical, honest, etc. THANK YOU for being upfront and to the point. You are, however, incorrect that I started it for one purpose. You answered the question, and I respect that fully. I simply do not think the nerd rage Tali-geeks are as intelligent/rational as you are.

That was from some trollan /b on 4chan, and it didn't have anything to do with Tali in the first place. But it was taken out of context because there was similarity in that it had a cloth hood, so it was good ammunition for trolls anyway- because who's really going to bother to do the research there? It's a stupid pissing contest on the internet. Thankfully I don't think we've really seen the kind of desperate trolling like from the Anti-Tali Alliance (That was a real fanclub! They decided to stalk threads and actually organize attacks and crap, isn't that stupid?) since those days.

Libel is attempting to degrade a name by using false written statements, the OP of this thread.

It is not another site, it is another thread. I can understand if you don't want to actually put forth any effort to understand, but if you want a real answer then that is what you will have to do. If you wanted information about the second world war, you don't ask the relative of a friend of the soldier who was there. You read his journal. The best I can give you directly is it is thats the way it is. People like Tali because she is Tali.
