Now the overall quest was excellent but I have problem with the ShadowBroker himself, the yahg.
When you see it first time it seems big and huge monster, even the cut scene shows him stood up and Sheppard and everyone are looking up like its some huge behemoth raising from until there is no end to it...
But then came the horrific truth... That goddam alien was just another small alien!
Why tease us with something like that only to then dissapoint us so horribly! Why cant you make actually big alien race to the game and stop using same human skeleton (I mean this in 3D-tech fyi)
Even with krogan. I love how krogan look but they are too small, even when you get Grunt I felt it stupid when Sheppard said "I have pick up here, and its big". Well yes the tank was big but the krogan inside the tank wasnt that big.
Now I dont mean that Bioware should go andchange them to be +50meters tall that can kill you with one finger, no lets not go to extremes, I just had wished that krogans would have been a tad little taller what they are now, not so tall that you have to get ladder to get to the eye level, but tall enough to actually be the big bad alien race.
Same aplies to the yahg aliens, I had hoped them to be taller, but noooo...

Pretty sure that was just a case of dramatic camera angles.

Perhaps larger aliens don't have the body type necessary for advanced brain development. Take dinosaurs. In general, the larger dinosaurs were less intelligent than the smaller dinosaurs. The same basic principle probably applies in the Mass Effect timeline.
Non-scientific answer: Because aliens need to be imposing and still be reasonably easy to defeat. A strong, giant lizard capable of using machine guns and armor would be too difficult to defeat.

I always thought the Shadow Broker was standing on a platform when he rose from his desk. But yeah he would have been more menacing if he was as big as he looked in the cut scene.
