The complaining begins...
Bioware should scrap the project and tell all the "fans" to make their own game.

If blondes are a 'rarity', I wouldn't want to think about how rare redheads would be.

Although neither are going into extinction any time soon, realistically speaking.

Yeah, I know. But there was one...and now there are none?

What happened is ,the model you see won the prelims, now it is getting finalized, alot of people just liked the hairdo and not the color,so they are changing it to what people want.

I think it's great that we get a revote. I've wanted to change the hair colour on #5 since the first poll and a lot of others have too.

Now we get the chance and, from the numbers so far, it looks like Bioware were right to do so.

Don't forget that every one of the people who are currently voting for a non-blonde weren't happy with the blonde. Right now, black and red each have more than double the votes of either of the blonde alternatives so it's quite clear that Bioware stand to please more people with this second vote than if they'd let the vote stand.

No if Redhead wins, the people who voted on black hair will complain and vise versa

I voted brunette, but honestly I never really had an issue with the original femshep, apart from her having no hair on the side of the head.

Engineer? **** OFF. WHERE'S THE VANGUARD!?

The 2nd round is actually a good idea based on the feedback.

And the announcement at PAX will be lets vote on the trailer's release date

Fixt.

Along with let's vote for shep's squadmates in said trailer...

No this better be the last voting, I admit i wanted to change her hair color but i am fine with blondes too. It was her hairstyle and hair color why i voted for #5, not just because i am a sucka for blondes lol

Sorry if there's already been a report of what the hands-on part of ME3's GamesCom-presence entails exactly, but I've just returned from GamesCom and would like to give an update.

First of all, you get trailers. Before getting at the demo, there is a medley of trailers:
1. the "Invasion" life-action trailer we know from E3,
2. the "Previously on Mass Effect" trailer voiced by Martin Sheen (TIM), which can be found in the media section of the Mass Effect 2 web presence (http://www.masseffec...e2/media/videos)
3. the "Fall of Earth" gameplay trailer,
4. a mission briefing voiced by Tricia Helfer (EDI), giving you info on the Asari, Salarian, Turian and Krogan races, on the premise of Mass Effect 3's story, on the Sur'Kesh mission and on your Squadmates Liara and Garrus. This part was new to me, but maybe it was shown behind closed doors at E3 or SDCC.

I thought that was a nice way of bringing new (or forgetful) players up to speed and giving them some context on what they were about to play in the demo.

Then there was the actual demo. As has been announced, it's basically what we've seen before. Sur'Kesh, with Liara and Garrus as team mates. But before you start, you get to choose between Soldier, Sentinel and Engineer.
You start with a character at level 18 for the demo, with no skills learned, giving you 36 points to freely distribute among your talents. I picked an Engineer - the heavy melee is pretty badass, being a close-up incinerate. But my favourite skill was the turret, which I skilled to the max. It is an immobile mini-turret, but instead of deploying it right next to you, you get to throw it wherever you like. It works basically like a grenade which then pops open to spout out a tiny little gun that starts shooting at the enemy.
Another novelty of the GamesCom demo was the announced Atlas action. Instead of just stopping after the Atlas shoots at Shepard, the demo gives you an extended cutscene in which the Atlas threatens to go at Mordin and Princess Bowser who are stuck in their little elevator thingy. Then, you get to kill it. Kill it with fire if you're an Engineer. I guess the Atlas was nerfed for the demo, asI brought it down with two max-skilled Overloads, three medium skilled Incinerates and a couple of rounds from me and my mates. It wasn't too challenging, but it was a nice little mini-bossfight at the end of the demo. However, try as I might, I didn't manage to shoot the pilot, no matter how many rounds I emptied at the cockpit - that feature was probably disabled for the demo.

We had plenty of time for the demo, 15 minutes, enough to go back and have a short look at the other classes and the powers of your teammates, but that might not be the case on the open-for-public days. Garrus has a nice little skill called proximity mine, which he can deploy to blow when an enemy gets too close.

At the end, you also get swag in the form of a poster and an Omniblade. There's also a chance to take a photo with a Mattock replica and with a guy in N7 "armor" - nice to see that Shepard finally gets his tight Spandex suit. Equal opportunity and all.

Edit: By the way, the demo (like the trailers) is in English, so don't you worry - I didn't see an option to change it to German (but I prefer English anyway).
Also, The dialogue is automatic in the demo - they removed the option of chosing your answer to give the demo a quicker flow (i.e., when Princess Bowser says "You don't know me, Shepard", Shepard automatically answers with the paragon response without the dialogue wheel appearing). But from the press presentations of the demo we've already seen that there is actually a dialogue wheel in that scene, so nobody needs to worry about railroaded auto-dialogue.

Thank you so much Shinannigan! Could you please talk about about what EDI said about Asari, Salarian, Turian and Krogan races and ME3 story, Sur'Kesh mission and Liara & Garrus? Would be very very grateful!
