Not sure about that tbh because its a feature I never used on ME2.   I hope theres more to it then just keeping your weapons and credits this time round

Where exactly? All I can find is a statement the it will be a hybrid of ME1 and ME2 in the first post. Is there a later post with more details?

In ME1 you couldn't reach lvl 60 in one playthrough; it took 2 playthroughs to get a character to lvl60, but in ME2, lvl30 was usually about 4/5ths of the way through a playthrough, which made NG+ a bit boring for me. YMMV

Yep. Everyone knew ME1 style inventory wasn't coming back.

Re: the Zaeed/ Kasumi question, there was an important bit at the end that people have skipped over:
