Oh man, sounds awesome. Thanks for the deets! If by any chance you happened to spend enough time with the class (and in the skills menu) to let us know what some of the evolution upgrade choices are for some of the Engineer's powers I'd soooo appreciate it.
Also could you please please please explain how the Sentey Turret works in terms of gameplay from a crowd control perspective. Does it lock down a single enemy, protected or not, by shooting at whoever's closest to it and causing them to turn and engage the turret, like Combat Drone? Or does it shoot at multiple enemies simultaneously and they all turn to engage it until it's destroyed? Or they don't engage it at all and just get interrupted when shot? Etc etc. Any details on how exactly it works would be awesome.
And speaking of awesome, combining AI Hacking and ME1 Sabotage so it's effective against both mechs AND organics sounds like such a great idea. With all these great evolution choices for powers, who would wanna spend points on situational powers which only work against certain enemy types? Bioware would do right to trim the fat with those sorts of powers and it seems like they are.
tl;dr: any details on evolution choices for the Engineer powers (especially Sentry Turret) and what exactly the Senty Turret does to enemies would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Wow, that sounds great. The sabotage ability seems like a really good idea - the engineer was always a bit weak against organics, and now they seem like a force to reckoned with.
I can't wait to hear what they've done with the infiltrator.

I'm not really expecting much. My guess is probably a combat trailer part 2 and maybe a new playable class for the demo (hoping for infiltrator).

I really hope they play up the whole agent side of the infiltrator, like stealth and espionage. Nothing too drastic - I don't think the ME engine is built for stealth - but perhaps some class-unique weapon mods like suppressors, and more options for the cloak ability like being able to shoot for a short time whilst cloaked, or being able to melee while cloaked without losing the invisibility. The assassin side of the infiltrator has already been nailed - you can one-shot pretty anything if you put points in the right places - but I'd like to see the agent side come to light a bit more.Wynne wrote...

I am so jealous, my very first playthrough with ME1 was with an engineer and that has been my primary Shep ever since. I can't wait to take my femgineer back into action. Thanks for sharing!
