As was pointed out by Benchpress610 in the Twitter thread, the site PCGames.de posted this:

"EA has revealed details about tomorrow's press conference, which you
can watch from 4pm tomorrow on pcgames.de in a live stream. According to
that, Dr. Ray Muzyka will not only present a multiplayer-demo of Star
Wars: The Old Republic, but also an update about Mass Effect 3."

It's entirely possible the other sites are confusing the TOR multiplayer demo with Mass Effect 3.

Imgamer is just quoting the gamescom newsletter.

That list is a press release from Gamescom that has been sent to all subscribers from the press. 
Gamescom didnt just wrote down the games they have in mind, its EA that gave Gamescom that information.

BUT, as I said, dont believe it. Its not just iamgamer, its the the german press who got that information.

Uh, they could have just not mentioned MP at all if they wished. None of the other games do. So you'll allow me to not believe that EA or BioWare would make such a move.

The "excerpt of expected games" from a random online magazine is not a press conference. The press conference is tomorrow.

It's not just from a random online magazine, though. Although you are correct that what they're refering to is an 'excerpt of expected games'. They got that excerpt from the official GamesCom page (the press information section). Link where it says "Mass Effect 3 mit Multiplayer Modus, Electronic Arts GmbH".

Still, BioWare has to announce it to make it a fact. So, either way, we'll have to wait and see :-)

That newsletter has been send to subscribers of the press, thats why the press is reporting it, see the links I posted.
Most of them already reported the xbox magazine news and just UPDATED the news confirming the rumor as fact.

EA wants to keep this "big" information for tomorrow, thats why you can look forever in the internet. Just the receivers of that press release newsletter know that something about ME3 Multiplayer will be announced

Like I said, I dont care if you dont believe me. Im honestly not sure myself why Bioware makes such a big secret out of this information, its probably just marketing

The crazy thing is, it doesn't matter what happens tomorrow. If there's no multiplayer confirmation, people will still get up in arms every time a little rumor pops up saying there is.

If you, or any other dev came on to this forum and said either "There won't multiplayer in ME3" or "There will be multiplayer in ME3", we would believe you.

Because all the responses we have had so far have been (imo at least) vague, inconclusive or ambiguous, there has continued to be arguments on the forum about whether multiplayer will feature in the game.  This is why not everybody believes you, Casey etc.

Maybe you are being vague because you have something to keep secret until the correct moment.  Maybe you genuinely think you have already answered this question as thoroughly as is possible.  Maybe you just like messing with our heads

Anyways, come March at the latest we will know the truth

I obviously don't believe you because this information is factually not official, it's just some random employee who reportedly did a search on the web to make the list.

Your very statement is extremely contradictive. A great percentage of the games in this list are known to have MP, but only ME3 apparently comes with a (It has a MP, you guys!) note. But I thought that you said that EA wanted to keep it secret? Oh wait.

I wouldn't have such high hopes about Gamescom if I were you.
