There won't be any multiplayer, i'm 99% certain of it. (1% chance that they add some sort of pinnacle station esque levels where you have an actual leaderboard)

If multiplayer isn't comfirmed the rumors will keep cropping up. Hopefully they will flat out comfirm that there will be no multiplayer.

Indeed we may. But there has been no such announcement thus far, which leads me to not get excited so much.

Same here. I'll be fine with it either way, so I can just sit back and enjoy the show...whichever way it goes.

Because it's the biggest gaming event in Europe and they have to release something worth standing in the queue for 5 hours?

I'm all for no multiplayer in ME3, though lastly, if it was in and there are no achievements associated with it and also no bonus items for single player, I'd be fine, too. But I do believe that RPG and competitive MP shouldn't go together, even if ME is half-shooter.

Gamescom is just the HOST of the event, they arnt the the guys with the knowledge of all games, but they represent all gaming companies.

They DONT invent or spread rumors, thats why the wouldnt explicitly write ME3 multiplayer on the press release if that isnt about multiplayer. Ok last post for me now.

Maybe they haven't had a chance to make a comment yet? Maybe they want to make their ACTUAL announcement at Gamescom before addressing this rumour? Maybe because Bioware has a strict policy about NOT commenting on rumours they will just not say anything at all?

You say that, but they've made errors in the past, spreading wrong infos. That goes especially for individual workers who "leak" info that turns out to be BS.

German we have not always right, it looks like yes, we also ignored by the developers in the German forum, are saying everything is true to say that English users in Germany we only have rumors spread and wrong, we are really only meant you did well to inform us but is to be called liars really hurt

As I have said for the 51st time here and on PMs, they themselves admit that this list is anything but official.

The supposed knowledge isn't really there, whether due to laziness or lack of real information from the game companies, because they sent employees to find the games that will be in their own convention from the internet.

Nice attempt at avoiding my point, btw.
All of these games that have MP apparently don't have such a note along with them, but only ME3, when there has in fact not been a single announcement from EA.com on this matter (hence the lack of any real source). In fact the only possible source is X360 World and all the articles that came along with it. But no, EA somehow announced MP and in fact insisted to be the only ones on the list where they include the MP presentantion.

We may see MP tomorrow, we may not. There is not a single valid source to indicate that however, which is why I fully disapprove of what you did with the OP, which is to misinform thousands of visitors.

When Gamescom themselves say that their list is not official, I think that you are stopping to make sense somewhere there.

If by developers you mean posters, I am lucky enough to understand a basic level of German so that I can actually read the articles and not have to believe a couple of posters, one of which has had a very notorious past when it comes to MP rumors.

By posting magazines that cite XBOX 360 World and BSN, along with "forgetting" to mention what is official and what is not?

Bioware have been known to stealth release things, they did it with DAO UE. This is more general statement not specific about whether will be MP or not. But I admit I tend to trust Chris on this because of one simple fact that I know after being on BSN for long enough and he knows the vast ***storm that could arise if a developer or part of the actual team denies something then turns around and admits it. So I'm going to believe him however that doesn't change my view they should of spent making more content for the actual game with this delay instead of Kinect and/or (rumoured) MP such as new worlds, extend exploration, adding new quests even padding ones.

Thats my personal view whether you like it or not, I simply don't care it's just my opinion and preference.
