Yeah... this is why really don't understand the angst towards multiplayer in Mass Effect. If you don't like Multiplayer don't click that button. Pretty simple. And uh no offense but I don't think the inclusion of Multiplayer ever "ruined" the Baldur's Gate games. Probably actually made it better for D&D folks.
I have no objection about MP one way or the other, I just would have prefered (if real and not rumour ~big if there) that all the extra time invested in MP via this delay went to adding new worlds, new small stories or adventures / missions or assignments within the single player. Thats all I want.
Doesn't make any difference if it's one team or two working on seporate things, if that was case that there is two groups then first group might be sitting twiddling thumbs or polishing things in single player while other guys making mulitplayer hence delay in which case would want first group continuing polishing or making single player content while other group makes more single player content. But I admit I'm selfish like that. If was 100 teams I would want all 100 making more single player content.
