In the near future, AFTER the Shepard saga I wouldn't mind having a multiplayer client of Mass Effect, of some kind. Until then, I dont want it. Moreover, if they do implement Multiplayer I would prefer it to not have a deathmatch or matchmaking system. I would honestly prefer a open world experience on par with RIFT or any other top rated MMORPG.
No Multiplayer in ME3 at Gamescom announced!

Ya how people are so ignorant to think that anything ever meant "NO MULTIPLAYER" which we knew was coming 4 months ago at E3, cause when they asked then they would have said: "There will be no multiplyer in Mass Effect 3".

Bioware was convinced by EA to use ME3 as their first push to get the CoD crowd.
Expect future Bioware games to lose depth, good writing, have more oversexualised woman, Gears of War style men, and shirt singleplayer modes that can be completed within a few hours.

Multiplayer is still not confirmed.
Gaming journalism is sh*t, so I can expect this is cheap way to sell more copies or they jumped to conclusion from that other "confirmation".

The reason everyone is worried is because it states that they will have interview with Casey and he will explain them why they decided to put it in.Mesina2 wrote...

Oversexualised women in CoD or Gears? It's pretty ironic considering rpgs are one of the worse offfenders. Every visit to the nexus sites should be acompanied with brain bleech, those are user made however and bethesda is quite innocent but I can't say Bioware is. Have you forgotten about Miranda's skintight football armour and high heels? what about the back-pain bussoms in DA2? I'm not criticising or supporting (well, maybe the clothes for amour part) but you seem to be barking up the wrong tree. and isn't Batlefield 3 the more appropriate weapon for COD?Wannabe_Overlord wrote...

Just ignore that Wannabe. Apparently playing full on traditional RPGs makes him superior to other humans who have busy lives and like to relax with casual games that are made more fun with friends.

I'm excited about the prospect of Bioware bringing greater RPG elements to an online matchmaking environment, taking loadouts and classes far beyond anything the latest Call of Duty or Battlefields are providing. Especially if weapon mods are included in there, and power evolutions? There's so much chance for them to forge into and dominate that niche.
