Interesting, but i'm not sure if it would be original. It would certainly be logical though.

I've seen the idea before and it's possible. All you'ld have to do is take of one's helmet though, and mystery solved.

And if you have to use an industry-grade thermal cutter to even open the armor? They could be permanently sealed into the damn things for all we know.

It could be possibly they just alter Shepard clones genders after all Miranda is a female clone of her father.

XX -> XX

XY -> XY
and
XY -> XX

XX -> XY is not possible.

And seriously, that's just stupid, even if you can clone someone they wouldn't come out as a full-grown adult with all the memories and experiences as the original...

Your talking about a game that had fullgrown krogans cloned with armor and all, not only that, the main character was resurected with the "lazarus" *read a wizard dit it* project.

Who said anything about memories and experiences? They're not cloning Shepard because they're looking for experience or specific memories, they're cloning him/her because they can. Combat abilities can be imprinted.

Also, accelerated growth. They're not meant to live full lives anyway.

Do I need to bring up other examples of fully grown clones in sci-fi? It's totally possible in ME given the level of technology that is available.

Metal Gear Solid? Sounds a bit too similar imo.

If we fight TIM it has to be hand to hand with the terrain exploding at random for the duration, and some epic music.

You could just point out Shepard the player character, tbh.

From what we know, there wasn't anything left that resembled a normal human being anyway before the Laz'R'us project :whistle:

What I want to know, is if there are weaponsgrade nanobots within Shepards body so he can fling explosive poo too if needed...

The explosions are synched to the kinds of punchs and grapples being used.

What do they do when they need to use the restroom? Or eat?

Honestly, the Centurion's profile makes me think "Indoctrination" rather than "Cloning". Particularly in conjunction with Shep's now infamous demo quote, and the sort of experiments Cerberus was conducting in Retribution. Things become more interesting if you consider staff quotes about Cerberus in ME3 to have any weight.

Thing is, what if Cerberus mooks are male when playing female Shep? Then it just doesn't make sense. Granted, we haven't seen a femShep play yet, but that's a huge amount of resources and is rather obvious. I'd rather they just cloned Kai Leng or someone like that.

What? Ofcourse Illusive man would go for superior sex in this part and change the clones abit. B)

Cloning Shepard would be pretty nice plot twist.

 An army of clones sounds likely, but not so much Shepard clones.  Okeer's cloning can imprint memories on clones, but not necessarily the direct memories of the host. It was more like flash-training. So the original isn't really important as long as he has good genes.  I think if these soldiers are clones, they probably have genes from multiple donors.  Heck, maybe their DNA was 'designed' from many different genes to be the 'perfect soldier'.

Killing Shepard is easy for enemies too, just need to get few hits in.

Seriously? They can raise people from the dead, and you question how they could possibly make them self-sufficient inside the suits.

You're also assuming they are just regular people in there, and not hooked up to a gazillion systems with cybernetics everywhere.

lol, you guys are taking this a bit far. I am referring to the genome soldiers in MGS1 being made of the same genetic material as Solid Snake, and Liquid telling you at the end of the game "this whole time you've been killing your brothers."

If Cerberus ops were clones of Shep, that would feel like a very cheap knockoff of MGS. Lets hope this is not the case!
