I've seen the idea before and it's possible. All you'ld have to do is take of one's helmet though, and mystery solved.

And if you have to use an industry-grade thermal cutter to even open the armor? They could be permanently sealed into the damn things for all we know.

What do they do when they need to use the restroom? Or eat?

Seriously? They can raise people from the dead, and you question how they could possibly make them self-sufficient inside the suits.

You're also assuming they are just regular people in there, and not hooked up to a gazillion systems with cybernetics everywhere.

As a great fictional starship engineer once said, "The more they overtake the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain." Seems appropriate for this context.

Nah there's no way their Shepard cuz if i have a easy time killin them im gonna be smh.

Killing Shepard is easy for enemies too, just need to get few hits in.

Maybe for your Shepard...not mine

power to the insanity VANGUARDS

Yep yep, I use Vanguard too, they are awesome.

But Shepard dies pretty easy when you make mistakes. These clones don't have same experience, equipment or mods as original has. So they wouldn't be that hard to knock down really. That's all I am saying. Plus Shepard can't really take that many hits.

If Cerberus ops were clones of Shep, that would feel like a very cheap knockoff of MGS. Lets hope this is not the case!

Ah, not unless Illusive Man goes: "Shepard, I am your brotheeer!" And then they fight without shirts on top of a Reaper.

If this was in 5-10 years span, I might have buy this theory.

But less then 2 years?
Not possible.

Before ME2 I would have agreed with you, but after Lazarus and the Collectors pretty much everything goes...

I certainly hope they aren't Shepard clones. That's gonna be hard to believe when I gun them down with ease.

Clones, yes. But they are not perfect. The voice in the glass mother told them otherwise, but they feel something is wrong. ;)

This is certainly not far fetched by any means and it would cause serious, SERIOUS havoc if one went to worlds and disrupted relations. If they can bring a person back from death, there is no reason they couldnt clone him. If this is implemented this could, as stated, cause serious issues with the other species.

This theory actually makes since. Whether or not it's true remains to be seen. Lol, some of the arguments I'm seeing against it are lol worthy.

I mean you recreate the greatest human warrior of your time, and then decide you would also like to have a massive army. Why not just start mass producing knock off Shepard's? It's like O'Keer. Grunt may be a total badass, but most of those clones are pathetic in comparison. It would be same way if they cloned Shep.

Also, justification for why we haven't seen female Centurions is that we have not seen femshep gameplay.

Not saying this theory is true, I'm just saying it makes sense... Oh, and I love Metal Gear Solid.

Hummmm, Grunt, Miranda's father, Lazarus P., Collectors tech...I think I could buy it. Nice theory.

Metal Gear Solid? Sounds a bit too similar imo.

TIM will be the last boss.He will have Saren's arm integrated. Shepard and TIM will duke it out on top of the Citadel as the Main themess from ME 1,2 and 3 play.

And it would be beautiful. B)

It would be interesting if they just used a placeholder form to be the exact copy of your shepherd, especially if you ever get to interrogate a clone with their helmet off. That'd be pretty awesome (/terrifying).

Even if it's clones, they are not Shepard clones. A Shepard clone would amount to a boss.

So, facepalm.

XY -> XX

Multiple possibilities for making female clones of a male:

1. Make a copy of the single X, ditch the Y.
2. Construct an X from the Y plus additional material (this is how Miranda was "conceived").
3. Stick with XY but deliberately induce Complete Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome.

Are there some slight genetic differences?  Yes, but close enough that "clone" is still appropriate.

XX -> XY is not possible.

Again, multiple possiblities:

1. Take one of the X chromosomes, alter it into a Y
2. Just take a Y from another source (maybe from a close relative)
3. Stick with XX but deliberately induce XX Male Syndrome.

Again, the resulting clones will be nearly identical genetically to the donor of the genome.

Nonetheless, fighting Grunt would be boss fight.
Fighting glassmother grunts is just normal business, despite that they are clones too.

TIM is not interested in making Dark Shepard, he just wants many squad leaders.

If TIM cloned his mooks, he'd clone biotics. Jack and Gillians types. How many of the Cerberus troops are biotics?

I say they are just Terra Firma supporters drafted to "the cause" in the turmoil of the Reaper invasion.

All biotics would make monotone gameplay, we need diversity. Christina wins.

So Cerberus is basically sending militia level trained troops against Shepard? Tbat's a pretty weak theory, I'd expect better from reading your past posts maybe a mass Alliance defection or buying out all human available merc's in the galaxy. But not getting troops from a slightly radical political party.

You can do better. :P

You see, among the Terra Firma supporters there must be enough Alliance veterans. Bonus points if your Shepard is among them too.

That probably explains the rocket boots, I don't think there would be wheelchair access ramps on Alien worlds for those old veterans. :P

Seeing how Cerberus made Joker with his bones into an able rifleman, I think medical issues are of a lesser concern in the Cerberus Liberation Army.

Yeah he could shoot but couldn't lift Shepard if he was the last one alive....not the best  example hey. :P

I think cloning soldiers would be the best answer considering that Cerberus has a huge amount of monetary resources to call on as well as the expertise required maybe not use Shepards DNA even if would be the best option IMO.

If you get a bunch of Vet's like your suggesting you'd want to give them the latest gene mods but that can take a year to work or 6 months with growth enhancements that might take too long considering that this force was raise quiet quickly according to the Alliance.
