I think that TIM would clone FemShep more likely.
1. FemShep is superior sex, cause she can have sex with Garrus. + 500 points plot bonus for FemShep
2. TIM would send Shepard vids, where Shepard would literally be screwed. + 100 points intimidation bonus

Alright. You stop posting and go think about what you've done.

That doesn't mean it was a good one.

It could be possibly they just alter Shepard clones genders after all Miranda is a female clone of her father.

Thing is, what if Cerberus mooks are male when playing female Shep? Then it just doesn't make sense. Granted, we haven't seen a femShep play yet, but that's a huge amount of resources and is rather obvious. I'd rather they just cloned Kai Leng or someone like that.

Indeed - perhaps I haven't been paying that much attention - but I don't think I've seen a single female Cerberus enemy yet...I should go watch the footage again and see if I can spot one!

Seriously though - I think it would be a lot more complicated to create a male clone from a female (involves the creation of a Y chromosome) versus a female from a male like Miranda (copy the X chromosome).

That's not how Miranda was created.  They took her father's Y chromosome plus material from other women to make a unique second X.

When I read that in addition to other media saying Cerberus has mysteriously "recruited" an army of soldiers, the first thing that came to mind was: "Oh crap, I think they cloned Shepard."

Or at least are using his/her DNA and using it for different roles (filled by different genders for what's best suited). Could be the Reaper and/or TIM answer to Shepard. If they can't make Shepard into goo or a Saren 2.0, they're going to make clones to fullfill that purpose instead.

Unfortunately for TIM/Reapers, any Shep clones will probably be heavily indoctrinated and brainwashed unlike Saren, so they won't have the same "skill set" as Shep.

I think the idea of going up against a legion of cloned Shepards and trying to stop the Reapers would be excellent. TIM spent 2 years rebuilding Shepard and he always has some ulterior motive behind anything he does. TIM is a master manipulator/planner; just not against Shepard. However, Shepard being the perfect Marine/Spectre whether female or male would make for a badass clone. Man, a legion of Shepards absolutely loyal to TIM and the Cerberus cause is another game altogether. Hint, Hint Bioware if your listening. What do you girls and guys think of that?

It's not unheard of for people to come up with the same idea, you know. Case in point, the OP's comment 4 days ago in the N7 Ops thread:

I can see it, and they are weaker because they are make in mass production, and different sex, well, Wolverine's clone (X-23) is a female, and something else: 1) Do you know why the Krogan Rebellions were so successful? They can reestablish their numbers really fast. 2) It’s more easy to make a clone army that finds people that MAY join Cerberus and give them some training. 3) I really doubt that the Lazarus Project were the only project that have to do with Shepard, let’s say, if Shepard dies in the Lazarus Project, that’s ok, not a problem, we’ll do it the sh*tty way, bring my clone army… Just Saiyan

Oh no, please not clones again. Went down that road with Shiala didn't we?
Besides, clones are only fun if they are Ba'als.

I can not see the point in cloning Shepard. You use the DNA to clone a human after Shepard, the clone doesnt have any of Sheps knowledge or training, doesnt have the physical enhancements given to him/her by the alliance, doesnt have the reinforced bones and muscle replacement surgeries, the surgery that increases healing or anything else for that matter. You just have a regular human who may or may not develop on a similar path to the actual Shepard.

At least Shepard isn't dead. Bringing dead characters back to life via cloning is the stupidest sci-fi cliche ever. Cloning commanders using collector tech is an interesting idea, but I hope they're not cloning Shepard. That would just be weird.
