You've got a slightly horrific sense of humor...

Oh, c'mon. You didn't laugh? Not even a little bit?

Apparently, talking about eating babies doesn't make every giggle. Even if its hilarious.

I beg to differ it is actually very funny given the right approach

I thought that show was hilarious. Also I can atest to the benefits of drinking a liter of babies blood. A little coppery but my skin is as smooth as the baby's once was. You know, before I killed it.:D

So is it wrong that I see no horror? I find the picture kind of silly, but really nothing terrifying.

No, it means you have a sense of humor. It also means children with good skin are in danger of you potentially killing them to gain their youthful essence.

It's not disgusting to some. There are lots who find themselves turned on by the aliens. :P

Meh... not really. I honestly fail to see anything off-putting about it at all.

Unless you've got a pregnancy fetish I don't see how that picture wasa turn on in any way. If you've got sexy alien pictures, post away, but that wasn't meant to entice in a sexual way.

The fact that someone thought about Shepard and Garrus having babies long enough to contemplate and draw a picture with her ready to give birth is disgusting.

I don't have any sexy pics except for Kaidan. I was just pointing out that there are quite a few in the community that enjoy the alien romances and would like the dream (marriage/kids) with their chosen LIs.

That's not my personal feeling, but I respect those that feel strongly about it.

(No pregnancy fetish for me either. I've actually had children and hold no romantic delusions about the process lol.)

Its not about the pregnancy for them, its about the intimacy, the idea of raising a child between them that brings about satisfaction from a romantic angle.  You may be surprised to know that this works for some people, since the aliens are heavily anthropomorphised, I don't see how its disgusting in the least.

Then again, its opinions against opinions, utterly subjective, and pointless to crusade for or against.

Calling people's tastes disgusting over and over again won't make them see your side, its literally just insulting them because you don't like it.

A question I've been wondering about for a few minutes now.

It's reasonable to expect that Maleshep is, as men constantly produce more sperm, and so if he was put back together just the way he was, there's a logical conclusion there. However, women get all the eggs they'll ever have at birth, and assuming the eggs are as dead as Femshep is... Cerberus would need to clone thousands more and insert them into her. Would they bother doing this?

This is the sort of thing that she'd probably have some idea about after a month or so, even if no one told her, so it seems slightly unfortunate that it was never brought up. I'd be curious, even if it's not a possiblity my own Femshep would explore.

Ya know, I kinda thought there would be a sub-plot with Liara to this effect. Even if you did not romance her, she still had the ability to "steal" your genetic material while she was fishing around in your brain. Male or Female it would make for an interesting sub story, drama filled "you stole my baby" moment.  :D

I can see it now: Mass Effect - The Soap Opera.

Liara: No, Shepard... YOU are the father.
Shepard: :o *dramatic camera zoom*

Might I recommend a dolly zoom (Triple Reverse Zoom) for the shot of Shepard? ;)
