Hi

I just came to the room where two rachni are inside another room, and you need to hack the door to get through it. Problem is, it says that my skill is too low. I heard with a friend who also had played the game, and he told me that you could just use omnigel on the door, but this is not an option at all on my screen.

Do I have to restart the whole mission, or can this be solved in another way?

There's more then one way through. Go next door and repair the console to open it. There may be other options, I forget if those are the only 3. I think it takes more then usual omnigel also (like 100). Breakdown some loot if you don't have enough and it should show up.

No good. Neither the console doesn't show any alternative for me to pay with omnigel. The only thing that is being displayed is "Skill too low."

if your talking about the security room where you can activate the purge thing you can ask the VI to unlock it.
