So far I've found the keys to the second and third gates and into the Chasm. However, my inventory is filling up and I do not have a key to leave the area in the wasteland to go back to Hawke Estate and sell.

Question: is the key not found until the final boss? Have I somehow overlooked the key that enables me to leave the area to return to Hawke Estate?

This is driving me nuts. Please help.

do you mean the 'return to kirkwall' statue?

if so, i'm pretty sure that once you enter the deep roads, you can't go back, BUT, once you get down there, there's a storage chest and a gather party point.

dunno if that's any help, but i've only played legacy twice, so i'm not sure if that's what you mean.

Just before the you are "stuck" in the main body of Legacy point, the Wanka(bronto) and Rhatigan(2h dwarf) fight, there is an "exit for now" griffon statue that will take you back to Gamlen's house. just destroy the trash you have collected as you need to.

Thanks very much to both of you. And btw I have certainly learned from your strategy/companion advice, Arelex, and your RoF and tactics advice, SuicidialBaby. Y'all's efforts have really enhanced the pleasure of playing DA 2.
