Hi guys!
Ok so I recently installed mass effect 1 on my new pc. Everything went perfect, I had patch 1.01 with BTtS on it, and like an hour ago I decided to upgrade it to 1.02. thing is, when I did, now I can't play coz' it keeps asking me to:

Enter your Registration Code here

Please enter the entire Registration Code found either in your confirmation email, your game manual/product packaging, or game card.

-- I DO have an original retail version, I had no such problems in the past (provided I never patched to 1.02) and now what...did I just loose all my save game?! 

Please help!

What happens when you enter you registration code?? And is it asking for ME code or BDtS code?

I just installed both ME, BDtS and 1.02 recently and it just asked for the code of each and didn't ask again.

Well there is always this window with "enter your registration code" and doesnt' say if it wants one from ME or BDtS, I tried both, no luck :/

You may read this thread, but it really doesn't sound like what you had.

Things I would try is uninstall the game, then reinstall, patch to 1.02 then run the game and verify it runs.
Then install BDtS and run the game and make sure it runs.
Then if you want(and I would) repatch 1.02(in case BDtS reverted to 1.01) and then verify if it runs.


PS:  You will be given the option to save your saves on uninstall and/or you can copy the entire ME folder that contains your saves to keep all settings and achievements as well.
