Origins was crap in a lot of places, but it had the magic. Dragon Age II was good in some places, but it didn't have the magic.
Awakening is an expansion (there is no 's' in the title, by the way). It had good ideas, but it was basically a game that you played for fun, and then at the very, very end, they were like "Here's the bad guys--go fight 'em!" And I was like "What, this game has bad guys? Who are they?" And they were all like: END CREDITS.

2. Closely followed by DA2
3. Awakenings

Awakening classes felt better I liked the diagloue system. In Origins I felt I just tried every diagloue choice on a companion and never went back to them.
DA2...well no it's not even like. The combat was fun but the rest was terrible.

Well which is your favorite game in the series and why? I can't post because I still have yet to complete Dragon Age Awakenings and Dragon Age 2. I have both games but saving them and Mass Effect 2 and 3 when it comes out for last on my games to play list. I have a bunch of games I bought and the bioware games i'm saving for last. I did play and beat Mass Effect 1 and Dragon Age Origins though.
PS this is only for people that have played all 3 games and all DLC. Thanks
Reasons:
1. Replayability Value. It has 6 origins, 3 races, multiple ending consequences. Different dialogue paths.
2. Player character. I customize him/her. I give him/her personality. I created him/her. They're all mine. I get to live my character and I have a role to play. I'm not an audience who simply watch Bioware's Hawke do the talking, behaving like purple, blue and red robot and yet couldn't scratch a mosquitoe for Anders to change the world.

1. Awakening - didn't have the dialogue, length or depth of Origins but I love it anyway
2. Origins - combat is annoying, game likes to crash with great regularity, has dialogue, depth and huge replayability
3. 2 - combat improved if shallow (not the waves of mobs that's trite), some great character moments and a DLC that's actually better than the game...it made the list based on those points alone.

I love DA2 the most. Keep playing it since the release date. I really like its characters. I like the main conflict (may be because I always play as a mage in all games where its possible). It has flaws but I guess they are not that important for me.
Awakening had potentially a lot of nice things - the Keep management, intrigues of the nobles, interesting antagonist, but omg the BUGS!!! I couldn't finish the game without using the console.
DAO is not for me. I managed to finish it only from the second or third try. The storyline was a boring Good vs Evil cliche, the game pretended to be a dark fantasy but forgot about it from time to time. The only character I liked was Morrigan. And the combat is awful. Still I can't say DAO is a bad game, it just wasn't fun to play.

1. DA2 - I felt more immersed in this than in DA:O. Maybe DA:O prepped me for it, I'm not sure. But with the story and characters, my investment in the game felt stronger.
2. Legacy - Just a solid DLC. It tied up some loose ends, left me with a lot of questions and made me sit glued to the PC until I finished.
3. Leliana's Song - Although it was short, I really enjoyed seeing this side of the bard.
4. DA:O - I probably need to play this again. I missed out on some things, felt stressed out by others. It's fantastic, don't get me wrong, and any slight negative feelings I have toward it might be more indicative of "when" I was playing it versus anything wrong with the game.
5. Witch Hunt - If only it had more or Morrigan. But I appreciated the unfolding of several grand plot lines.

2. Awakening - The moment I saw a talking darkspawn I was glued to the screen. Some part of awakening felt unfinished, though.
3. Legacy - good story, and an improvement on the battle system of DA2 + plus Hawke was more active in the banters.
4. DA:O - I was more invested in my compainions than in the warden. I still loved the game.
5. Witch hunt... I really regretted buying it since I always play as female.

2.) Leliana's Song: i will say however that i'm probably bias towards this because:
a) Leliana is my favorite characters
c) the Soundtrack is Fracking Amazing (....that sounded very weird, i think i'll stick with censoring my own words)
3.) Awakening: More Origins, what can i say?
4.) Legacy: hey, whaddaya know, Hawke Can be interesting!.
This is the only part of the game that has manage to actually pull a BIT of an emotional impact on me, well, actually it was more of a "Awwww" moment, but is FAR more than the actual game EVER did.
Note: LOL! at most of the fans from DA2, who say that we shouldn't compare DA2 to DAO because DA2 it's a good game on it's own right, while nearly every fan of DA2, the first thing they did when bought Legacy, was compare it to DAO DLC, LAWL.
5.) Golems of Amgarrack , Well, again, is more Origins, and it's Hard as F**k, what can i say?
6.) Witch Hunt: .... Don't get me wrong, just because is here does not necessarily mean that i like it, and this is the case, but at least it's more Origins.
7.) DarkSpawn Chronicles: Read the Witch Hunt Description, but this is worse, they had so much potential to make strong, dark, and emotionally engaging, seeing as we have to kill our companions..... but no, they turned it into a joke(kinda reminds me of DA2..... Speaking of which:)
Somewhere WAY bellow 1000.) Dragon Age 2: Do i need to say anything at this point? hasn't it been said a million times already?

2. Dragon Age 2 (6/10)
3. Awakening (5/10)
By far, I prefer Origins. I think its a better game in every aspect; in fact I consider it as a "modern classic" if something like that is possible.
Dragon Age 2 is just "ok" for me; there are plenty of gameplay issues, things that annoyed me and that I strongly dislike. I don't think its a bad game, just plain.
Awakening is extremely bugged for me. I like the setting, the characters (Justice or Sigrun are brilliant) and the gameplay ideas. But I coulndt understand how Bioware released an expansion as bugged as this ._. I had to replay entire sections just because those bugs.
Edit: As for DLCs...
1. Golems of Amgarrak
2. Legacy
3. Leliana's song
4. Witch hunt
Golems really surprised me. I think its extremely underrated, and offers some unique and interesting content. I enjoyed inmensely the final battle.
Legacy is a good DLC, that tries to fix most of the main quests problems. I enjoyed this little adventure much more than DA2.
Leliana's and Witch hunt aren't bad, but a bit short and dull. I expected better things from both of them.

Awakenings - 8/10 (i was able to continue my story, meet new people, left satisfied)
DA:2 - 2/10 (the only thing that didn't make me vomit in my mouth was the look of the quin'ari)
My opinion, don't need to justify the scores.

Awakening - 5/10 (because i've played it on PS3 and it was heavily bugged, on pc it would be 8/10)
Dragon Age 2 - 6/10 (too arcade, acts-story poorly linked, characters undertone confront to origins)

Awakening: It basically continues the darkspawn intrusion - but gives the villains a new sense of intelligence, explains their motivations, etc. But I miss that you weren't able to talk to your companions...
Dragon Age II: Too many changes for its own good. I can't even take the world seriously anymore; the darkspawn looks stupid and the lighting messed up the Deep Roads. It's no longer dark and mysterious. The rest has probably already been said!
I'm not going to try out Legacy, why would I buy DLC for a game that wasn't even good to begin with?
But why are people bashing Awakening? Yes, it's rushed and there's a tons of bugs (The QA department must have skipped this one and worked on DA2. It was a lot better...) but it's still a good expansion pack. Some of new quest lines are really cool too.
But I just realized that the series is heading in the wrong direction: downhill!

2.) Awakening. True, it's only an expansion, and I wasn't crazy about it, but at least it wasn't DA2.
3.) DA2. Some interesting moments, but overall, vastly inferior to Origins. See the review in my sig for details. Plus no toolset.
