DAO=DA2
Awakening
Legacy
Witch Hunt
Golems of Amgarrak

>>>>All other DLC, since I really like to play with my own hero as a protagonist. They were fun to play once, but I don't think I'll replay them ever again.

ps I don't count Warden's Keep, The Stone Prisoner and Return to Ostagar, from my point of view it is part of the main game.

DA2>DAO
I didn't like Awakening maybe because of the crafting system, maybe because so many bugs..
I did like few of the characters, Anders, velanna, sigrun were great!

Origins>Awakening>>>>DA2

I'm still playing Origins now and then. I've played Awakening several times, and although it made some changes (silly companion interaction locations) that I didn't much care for, I still enjoyed it.
DA2... well. I played it twice, because I wanted to see if the second time I could find some magic in the game that I missed the first time, something that just HAD to be there, this is a BioWare game after all!!... but, of course, the magic wasn't there for me. I've been trying to convince myself to purchase Legacy since it was released, and, well, I haven't managed yet, because every time I think about reloading DA2 I am overcome with a wave of revulsion due to my massive hatred of the combat system (everything about it, from the ludicrous speed to the exploding bodies to the lack of tactics to the parachuting platemail wearing guardsmen waves), and this game is 90% combat, so I can't exactly get past that. Ah well.

DA:O Closely followed by DA2, and at last DA:A. I have them on ps3 since i do not have a capable computer to play them, yet Dragon Age is still one of my favorite games series. But anyways, DA:O Was the best, I liked DA2 because it was trying to do something different , be its own game (Blizzard, Im looking at you) and I feel DA2 was a bit underrated.Only 82 on metacritic? 2nd best game of the game year for me!

DA2's low ratings gave the bethseda fanboys a green light to bash Bioware and how "SKYRIM WILLZ TOTALLI PWNZ DWAGON AGE!" And onto DA:A? Dont get m started. it makes me wish I had a gaming PC for Dragon age, DA:A was flipping corrupt with all those bugs, and on a ps3 no way to fix em with the console or mods :(

I prefer Dragon Age: The Movie: The Game. It's awesome, but without that pesky button to push. Raul Julia is as the M. Architect and Jean Claude Van Damme as Guile Hawke...man, it was the best fight scene ever. Such drama, such action, my head exploded! Thank goodness for stim cells, I just rubbed them in the sunken, gushing cavity of my bloody neck and a new head popped out, then I played it again!

With Legacy tossed in, DAII firmly wins the crown in my case.

So:

1)DAII
2)DAO
3)DAA

DLC ranking:

1) Legacy (Best DA/Bioware DLC to date)
2) The Exiled Prince (Got a boost through Legacy. Those banters, OMG!)
3) The Stone Prisoner
4) Soldier's Keep
5) Leliana's Song
6) Return to Ostagar
7) Witch Hunt
8) Golems of Amgarrak
9) Darkspawn Chronicles

I love them all. But if I have to choose one I'll have to say DA2 and its DLC.

DA2!
DA:O
DA:A

DLCwise:

Legacy is definitely the top.
Leliana's Song is another favourite.
Witch Hunt was okay.
Darkspawn Chronicles was my least favourite.

Exiled Prince, Soldier's Keep, Return to Ostagar and anything that is fully integrated into the main game, I tend to see as a part of the main game. I did like them, though. (I don't count Legacy, because it's separate enough to think of it as outside of the main DA2 game.)

Dragon Age: Origins. 10/10
It was the best game easily. The World was unique and beautiflul. The romances were easier to progress. The companion system allowed characters to talk to compainions WHENEVER you wanted to.The story was great.
The Archdemon was epic. The "Origins" part made me want to create six characters, so i could try them all.The epilogue was awesome, and i felt like my Warden was a piece of me, my character. This game just had a sort of magic for me <3
Dragon Age: Awakening 8.5/10
More of Origins.Except, the only thing that would make it better would be letting you take ALL of your old compainions back, or atleast more that oghren.Leliana or Zeveran would have been nice. But i can't complain, as a whole, it rocked.
Dragon Age 2: 2/10
The series went downhill.I swear if Dragon Age 3 is like this gam, i will not get it.I mean really, generic world, sucky compainion system. The "Acts" system made it annoying.Miss one quest and START ALL OVER! The story was okay, atleast the Mages v.s. Tamplars, but maybe if they made it just a bit more likr origins....And the character wasn't mine.It
was a borrowed character from bioware. It didn;t have the magic :(

DLC
1.Leliana's Song 9/10
-Leliana was my favorite compainion.I loved this DLC.
2.Witch Hunt 8/10
-Good ending for morrigan (and if chosen, the warden)
3.The Stone Prisoner 8/10
-I loved shale.Nothing else.
4.Golems of Amarrack 7/10
-More Origins , and a bit harder.

214132.Legacy
Didn't play it.WHy would i play DLC for a failure game?

Now, please Bioware, return DA to it's Origins

DAO. It was far from perfect but at least it was more of a traditional RPG, not an action RPG and interactive movie.

Awakening
Lots and lots of other games I own, at least as far back as Alpha Centauri, including the NWN oc

DA2. Which I didn't buy, but borrowed after my brother got it and lost interest before act 2. I gave it back and I think he traded it. I'm not really sure and don't care. I'll never play it again.

Origins
Awakenings

DA2 doesn't make the cut - very mediocre game with limited customization/options, and many other flaws that have been posted several times already.

Awakening> DA2> Origins.

DA 2 has it's **** story moments but it's overall a well structured story that is NOT CLICHE, at least wasn't rolling my eyes as much as I did in Origins.

Awakening was just brilliant even though it had rather big bugs in it ( Valenna's personal quest for instance ).

DAO 9/10
DA2 7/10
DAA 3/10

I will add that I play on a PC. And I will also add that computer RPGs really do play differently than console RPGs. I'm not saying one is better than the other, but for my taste, I way prefer computer RPGs. DA2 really had a console RPG feel to me.

I loved DAO. I loved the romances, the character interaction, the feeling of being a part of a world and a story.

DA2 is fun, but it is no DAO. I really didn't like the fact that I couldn't talk to my companions except at certain times. It made the romances feel more like plot points to me rather than the more natural flow to the DAO romances.  As far as gameplay, there were many times in the game that I realized I was NOT the target audience.  I don't need an awesome button, and I don't like boss fights that make no sense.

I didn't like DAA. Since I hadn't read the books, I didn't have enough information to make the large decision. I didn't like having to click on sparkly objects to talk to my companions.  I wouldn't be surprised if many of the designers were fans of MMOs as many of the quests just had that feel to them.

I still don't understand, though, since there was such a short development time for DA2 why they felt the need to revamp an award winning, very successful game and make it something completely different. DA2 definitely had potential, and I like that they took a risk with with story, but had they built upon DAO instead of scrapping so much and remaking, they could have devoted so much more to making DA2 the game it should have been.

Origins: 9/10 - It was a return to Baldur's Gate with interesting characters and quests. Was it perfect? No, but it met and even exceeded my expectations.

Awakening: 7.5/10 - The choices were there but the game felt too short and the characters were under developed. I cut it some slack because it was an expansion pack rather than a full release.

Dragon Age 2 - 5/10 - This is a good example of awesome concepts but abysmal execution. Hence why I was hyped at first, worried when they started to explain the execution, and downright disappointed when I played it. The frame narrative was underused, the copy-n-paste environments were horrible, and the essential illusion of choice was gone. This game was not the "WORST GAME EVER" but is certainly disappointing as a sequel and even a betrayal to Origins. I honestly might have given this a 6/10 or even 7/10 had this only been a spin-off or another IP.

Origins by far. DA2 did have some interface improvements, and I'm actually good with mages not inflicting friendly fire. It allows DA2 mages to really unleash their arsenal, and get some use out of them. Rather than someone who just heals, heals, heals etc. But the combat is too fast, and the animations are cartoonish.

I haven't played awakenings yet. No comment on that.
