No. I never got into the series, so at this point it's better.

Seriously though, BSG without a lot of the religious stuff and with a satisfying end could have been among my favourite SciFi shows ever. Hopefully the ME series will have a better end. There are some similarities between BSG and ME in terms of story, like as already mentioned the quarian/geth situation.

Did I say that I need at least a cameo from Edward James Olmos in ME3? Preferably as part of the Alliance military at the trial or so. A bigger role I will accept as well!

The Geth subplot has a BSG premise but nothing more.

BSG was a good series but too much drama, too much religion.

It's funny when you mention BSG and ME together since two of the cast from BSG went on to have voice roles in ME2 (Capt Bailey and EDI).

Regarding the OP's question, I'd say no since BSG had alot of divine intervention at play and ended with a gigantic question mark over one character's head and an all too convenient explanation for the colonials' willingness to just forsake their technology. Of course we'll see how ME3 ends as well.

That's just like saying ME is like Star Trek, since there are four voice actors who also played in the Star Trek series (Benezia, Pressley, Uvenk, Salarian Councilmember).

I would like to take this opportunity to say that Katee Sackhoff would make a perfect Shepard.

Also,regarding the OP, I hope not. The stupid ending of BSG still hurts when I think about it.
