RPGs don't have multiplayer! They're about a lone person against the world! RPGs have to let the player customize every single thing about their character, even the texture of their shoelaces. Can you imagine how long it would take for multiple people to do that? Half of them would want everybody's outfit to be unique, and the other half would want matching outfits!

Seriously? I think that to anyone who's reasonably sane, Jesse was implying that the rumors are rumors without substance, but hey, whatever floats your boat. You want to take it as non-confirmation? Good for you - have fun being suspicious about everything!

We all have our own interpretations. My belief is based on what's been said thus far by Casey early on, not just by Jesse. I have to format books by the occasional actual conspiracy theorist/nutjob, so I've seen a whole lot of crazy on display (like that author who believes in stargates and writes about them in his supposedly fictionalized non-fiction work *rolleyes*). You'll forgive me if I prefer to accept what seems like the reasonable explanation instead of adding more crazy into my life.

I'm aware of the possibility, and of the tendency for people with something to sell to tell potential customers what they want to hear, and to never slag their own product.

What I'm saying is that in this thread and others they've consistently displayed an inability to detect someone making the distinction--if you want a specific example, look at my discourse with Atrieya, and all of my posts in this thread. I've never once said ME3 has multiplayer, but he (she?) several times went off on a tangent about my being a tin-foil hat wearing conspiracy theorist. I even stated unambiguously that I don't think there will be an MP announcement tomorrow!

To Atrieya in this thread and others in other threads, saying "Bioware have never ruled out MP in ME3" is the same as saying "ME3 has multiplayer!"
