Hm... could be. Marethari had a way to send your warrior companions into the Fade. Maybe the Circles also have this knowledge.

Connor's demon. Can't Irving send you in even if you're not a mage? (I don't know, I never played non-mage past Ostagar)

I was thinking the lyrium brand on their forehead literally acted as some kind of magical lobotomy. Something a lot more simple like that. Of course... the tranquils in Origins weren't branded. Was that just an aesthetic omission/retcon or were they canonically not branded?

Mr. Gaider mentioned something about it. They wanted to brand them in Origins but couldn't for whatever reason. I don't recall if he said there was an in-universe explanation for it, though.

No, Wynne states in Origins that the benevolent spirits shape the dreams when people dream within the fade. That implies that you do not shape anything within the fade only the spirits. Besides say the normal things you could do. Shoot an arrow or a fireball. But you can't will a sword into being like a spirit a can. The spirits do that for everyone else. A dreamer like Feyn is unique and different than all other mages.

You can in fact will yourself into different forms, in the Origins Fade quest. Becoming a golem doesn't seem far removed from willing a sword into being.

Feynriel is unique in the sense of being a dreamer, yes, I'm not sure that means the way he might be made tranquil doesn't apply to everyone else, though.

Actually, Irving can only send himself, Jowan, mage!Warden, Wynne or Morrigan... in this particular ritual. Though their intent wasn't to tranquilize Connor, so... maybe...

But you can't become a golem unless you do stuff that unlocks the power to do that.
Personally I thought the brand of the tranquill was something they did in Kirkwall, not everywhere persé. It seems to match their anti-mage attitude, the whole branding them thing.

Simple, she bought a life ward potion last time you were in town and used it.

Or smashed a Mythal's Favor in her back pocket when she went down?

Phoenix down! Oh wait, wrong game....

But that doesn't always work.....Aerith.

The original Magisters were supposedly these kinds of Dreamers. They used the power of shaping things in the fade to trap elven mages that were dreaming in the fade to force them to teach the future Magisters about everything including the lyrium and it's uses. The Elven Mages were helpless in this because they cannot will themselves out of it or stop it from happening. The Dreamers are that powerful.

When was all of that mentioned? Posted Image

That's only if you die in a cutscene. For some reason, they fail to work during cut-scenes.

It's a unique situation. In fact that area where you are is fueled by him dreaming. That is why when you enter his vicinity you are transformed into something he wishes to see subconsciously.

I always wondered why that happened....
