Because i heard the Quarian homeworld would be making an appearence in ME3, i was wondering, should the Geth or the Quarians, have ownership over the Quarian homeworld?

Some could say that the homeworld should stay under Geth control, even through the events of ME3.  Perhaps they can say that they deserve it, since they won the war.

Others could say that the Quarians deserve ownership because of all what they have been through.

So should the Geth keep control, or should the Quarians take control, or should they share it?

What do you think?

Here is my idea.  Have the Geth give the Quarians back their homeworld.   There are two reasons why this should be.

1.  Since the Geth are machines, they don't need to rely on certain things that organic life needs, they could live in space, or perhaps on a world that does not support organic life, or at least life similar to humans (though correct me if im wrong about saying that the Geth don't need the Quarian homeworld to survive).

2.  United we stand, divided we fall.  The galaxy needs to be united to deal with the Reaper threat, and i think if the Geth gave the Quarians back their homeworld, perhaps for a peace treay, it could ease up some of the tensions between the two.  Im not saying they have to like each other, however they both have to work together against the Reapers.  It would be harder for the Geth to fight the Reapers if they also had to deal with the Quarians.

They already do live in space. Talk to Legion more.

It's not even really a question. Unless Legion is lying (and I doubt it, he's obviously intended as an exposition device) it seems like the geth would be content to return control of Rannoch to the quarians, if the quarians would simply make some sort of gesture toward them that ISN'T about controlling or attacking them. The geth don't inhabit planets; they live in space stations and mine asteroids. They've only been maintaining Rannoch as a memorial.

It's an unnecessary conflict.

The Geth don't live in the planet, they only clean it and such. The Geth live in massive space stations around the planet, and the Geth's dream is to build a giant Dyson sphere to integrate themselves into and live alone.

The Quarians are narrow minded and plain dumb frankly. If it comes down to a choice of either one because the Quarians are too dickish I'll choose the Geth. They're the real victims in all of this.

Oh yeah, no way the Quarians are winning that one, no matter how much ****ed up experimantation they do or how much Tali whines.

They should share it. Kill Xen and support peace!

Quarians should get the homeworld.

Geth can get the Migrant Fleet as a home.

Tali said (during her ME2 loyalty mission) that even if the Quarians reclaim the homeworld, it would take many years to fix it and adapt. All things considering, their fight is meaningless if the reapers take over.

Well, i think this would be renegade Shepards solution for this particular problem. :)

People still think the Geth live in the planet? They don't need it. They live in space stations and want to escape to a Dyson Sphere.

I think the Quarians should get it. After they help Shepard defeat the reapers though.

Geth are just robots, they can live anywhere, what does it matter to them?

I'd like them to be able to co-exist with each other, but I doubt it will happen. There will always be extremists (which isn't a bad thing because of what happened) on the Quarian side and they might end up triggering another war, which I doubt they could win. If it is possible for them to be able to make peace, then I'm all for it. If I had to choose a side though... hmm, I don't know, probably the Geth. I do love Quarians, but in my perspective, they were just afraid of the unknown and attacked first and got what they deserved.

They. Don't. Live. On. Rannoch. They have their own space stations.

Give them both ownership of it, 50/50. No land, just equality. The Quarians messed up by creating the Geth without precatuions and the Geth responded in confusion by attacking their slave masters.

Whoever has the means to lay claim to it will own it. There is no "should", though I hope it is the quarians as they are the ones who truly need the world and no the geth. The geth are not machines. They should not own anything.

IIRC these space stations are in orbit of the planet. They are sure to be armed and I guess, they would aave to be moved at the very leat. I don't think the quarians would accept geth stations in orbit that might bombard them at any time.

If there was a war between the two, the Quarians would be wiped out.  Though it may have a side affect in hurting the Geth to.  But it makes more sense for there to be peace between the two, after all, the Reapers could wipe them all out.

The geth don't even particularly want it. They maintain it because nobody else does. All the quarians have to do is swallow their pride and ask nicely.

I am sure the Geth would still be interested in working with the Quarians peacfully. They don't need to just part ways.

Humanity should buy the deed from the Geth if we lose Earth.
