Hey Bioware is there a reason to have us choose our voice in Dragon Age Origins. It doesn't work in the game unless you keep tapping A at random things. Is there ever a chance you could patch it or something to give us the voice we chose for our dialouge. I think it would be cool to hear the Warden speak or even make a noise...like in the second game...I think the Hero is far more important that the Champion even though they are both highly important. And I think the Hero deserves a voice because of his/her role in shaping the world in the series. So just a thought.
I must ask.

Bioware doesn't monitor all forum content, and in fact they were absent from here completely for a year and a half. You'll have to write a PM to a chosen developer to see if he / she will answer.

Feeling evil, Gorath?
BioWare is unlikely to add content to DAO. They are unlikely to even patch the myriad of remaining bugs. Voicing the protagonist is expensive and there are many who would really prefer the Warden remain un-voiced. Adding voice acting for Hawke was...controversial, to say the least.

When you click on something the Warden talks to you, there are also things said during battle. I don't really notice it unless I pick a voice I hate.
"Get off my back?" but you are me?

Honestly, I haven't got the vaguest by now. Tonight has been one of the most disjointed and broken up nights in a long time. I'll feel really sleepy, and go to bed, faliing right to sleep, but two hours later I am totally absolutely wide awake again. This (these) forum(s) are one of several 'net-based activities I engage in, in the depth of the night when awake this way . . but the fact was that from the second or third month after DAO was out, Bioware was absent from the game's forums until Ron Bartel showed up 3-4 months ago.sami jo wrote...

Official statement and stance from Bioware is that there will be no future DLC for Origins. They are busy making ToR, ME3, DA3 and new DlC for DA2.
Its too expensive and time consuming to hire people to do six dozen or more differant voices for every single option and dialog possibility. Unless of course you want to fund the whole project yourself then I suggest starting negotiations with Bioware.
(Theres about a Dozen Voices Each for Human, Dwarf and Elf. Multiply that by two for Male/Female.)
