Fresh install of new copy NWN2 Gold. Tried with/without patching OC to 1.23 before installing MotB and patching that to 1.23, either way the new races won't appear (genasi, half drow). The new classes are there. Have uninstalled and reinstalled twice so far and no dice.
My guess is some dll might be corrupted on the disk or incompatable with the SoZ (ie. post 2007) patches. Surely someone here must've heard about this problem before, I assume there's a standard fix for older dvd copies of nwn oc/motb (as installed oc is v.1.0 and motb is 1.10).

Nevermind, found the problem. Virus protection whilst connected to the web and using autopatcher was corrupting the patch installations. I downloaded the whole patch caché and did it manually off line with virus prot turned off.
I've had so many w32 butt pains in my time I really hate turning it off when connected, but this worked.
Thank heavens for the support community providing manual patch d/l and installation (also allows d/l managers to turn 24kb/s downloads into 280kb/s).
