Okay,
Hello at Everybody in this Forum!^^
.....I'm new here and a Laie of ME2 modding.

I will make it short:
After one year, i've installed ME2 again.
At the First mission on a Planet,
i've got these terrible glitch with the two N7 Helmet's

img685.imageshack.us/img685/3281/masseffect2201108161534.jpg

I've modified ONLY the weapons (+m96 mattock)
and some properties of health, stamina and shields (Enemies & Player).
I have the problem since the release of ME2.
And in the whole Internet (google) it gives ONLY one thread about this Problem.

social.bioware.com/forum/Mass-Effect/Mass-Effect-2-Playstation-3-Technical-Support/N7-helmet-texture-glitch-5882318-1.html - DLC Problem???

And my Question is:
Is it Possible to Fix/Repair this Problem?
(Can someone please discribe How to?)
Or can someone please give me a link to download this FIX?

It would be nice if someone can Help me to fix this.

P.S. I have all DLC Packages
and this not a problem from a Modification or driver conflicts

Can someone explain me How to change the Two N7 Helmets to the one from DLC Recon Hood?
I want the Recon Hood as default helmet, instead of the N7 helmet

regrads

P.S. Don't wondering but i can't write in Modding sections. :( but why?

AFAIK, there is no ME "Modding Section", only DA:O. Nevertheless, until you finish your personal profile by adding a game registration, you won't have access to any "Owners Only" forums (look under my Avatar at the three Icons there, showing three games are registered in my profile).

hm... okay thx's but i hate things like that......
just a pity that nobody has a solution for it.
Ask me why people can create a female character....
No video for the deaths on the normandy 1.

and somehow you can not replace armor/helmets with ones from DLC's.
The most important
thing is everyone can have a male character

can i deactivate my EA Account?
I don't support developers who are too stupid to
fix a texture glitch/error in female characters. (approximately 2 years)
I hope EA (iii Ey) get punished (die) .... No editor, wasted potential... bad company

Don't mistake the nature of the forums. These are by gamers, for gamers, and neither Bioware nor EA maintains a major presence in ME-2's forums, and zero in the ME-1 forums.

If you want to make a statement, this isn't the place for it. Here, we are asking one another for assistance with problems; we aren't acting as agents for any company. Thus, we can't function as a complaints department. For that, you have to go to the EA Help site pages.

sorry but now would just be someone here who agrees with the people.
Wonder why there are so many presenters

(Moderatoren: Stanley ***, Jesse ***, Brenon ***, Jarrett ***, Don ***, Michael ***, EA_***, javiera***, Eric *******, Rob ***, Dusty ***, Aaryn ***, Euryp***, Selene ***, RaenI***, Man*** Heir, EA_***, Chris *** , Jeff *** , dlar***, Ray *** , Jesse.***, Rowland***, Kai ***, Aaryn ***)

but all good modders are gone...
and no registration means no help.

True there is no "Modding Section" but that doesn't mean that there isn't modding threads here on BSN. MIP1, MIP2, MIP3 all exist in the  "Mass Effect 1 & 2 Characters and Fan Creations (Spoilers allowed)" section and are pinned (5th in the list).

I knew that much. The OP only joined the forums to complain, and refuses to register any games, so where does that refusal lead our deductive reasoning?

Deductive Reasoning is flawed just flawed.
Deductive Reasoning itself needs to know the "TRUE" origin of the topic at hand or it will lead to suppositions and faulty conclusions. Example: A car is driving fast down the highway. What does deductive reasoning say?

1) The tires are in contact with the road and turning; therefore the vehicle has motion.
2) The vehicle is increasing in its motion; therefore it must be speeding up and thus the engine is running.
3) The vehicle is steering around obstacles and stopping for traffic signals; therefore someone is driving it.
4) The vehicle is obeying the speed limit so the person driving is worried about cops.

This seems right? Well not so much for only two turn out to be true. For the surprise is that the car turns out to be the Knight Industries Two Thousand from Knight Rider that is currently driving itself to pickup its driver. (I know its not a reality but still it fits the issue)

:police::police:
So are you  telling me that If people don't register you don't help them? Seems kinda arrogant and stuck up to me. There are those who do steal I will give you that. But what about those who are legit but don't want to deal with the hassle of registering -take me as an example I didn't register till September 23, 2010 and only because it was a necessary evil. I am a person who never looks or even goes near any of those ".....space" websites. I don't give out any information on the internet of any kind. I basically prefer to live off the Grid as much as possible. To me this register requirement that not even Bioware has made an issue of is a hassel that causes bias to come into the forums.

This type of thing really gets on my nerves and that is saying a lot since nothing hardly ever does bother me (Human Elcor). This register issue seems a great deal like the: classification of People.
Which is another way of sterotyping and the one thing that no one seems to want to do is to put themselves in the position of those asking for help.

What would you do if you were not registered and didn't want to conform to the masses and you really desired help?
What if you asked for help and were treated with distain for not being registered? It isn't something many here would think about is it?

So the way I see it: If someone is registered OR NOT and complains about something. Find out what is troubling them and set about to rectify it. If someone will not assist based on whether a person has registered just seems to be venturing extremely near internet prejudice for just being different. Something that just makes my skin writhe!!!

Also an insight thought: If they can access the thread's in this forum why not help them instead of ridiculing, harassing and belittling them? It is almost childish the amount of distain that I am begining to see as I begin to read posts in the technical forums more and more.
:police::police:

Edit:
This issue has been resolved sucessfully via PM.

There are always alternatives. How shepard said ^^
It is also possible to control the people....
I register my game so I can fix it by myself?
I call that miserable. Registrations were once destined for anything else.
Now you need this **** things for the download of latest patches, dlc's etc.
No matter^^ XD
Yeah I solved the Bug with a replacement (Recon Hood)
This solves the problem but not as it should but it's better as a Laie bug!

regrads & big THX's to phoenixofthunder for Help!

While I do not know off hand I would suggest looking in his PCC files:
BioH_Leading_00.pcc and BioH_Leading_01.pcc

Other than that I would recomend PMing some of the people like Inge Shepard, Epic Legion and Colider in the MIP3 thread. I am about to go off the forums for a few hours.

Going back to the OP.

The only part of the game where I've had this bug was during the Normandy prologue, and I'm confident everyone has this same glitch at that particular moment.

Also... IF you happen to be using a pirated version of the game --and I'm not saying that you ARE but since you won't register your game we can't know for sure can we?-- that may be where the bug comes from. Sometimes hacked executables have a way of introducing bugs where you wouldn't expect them.

Problems Solved....... it was a graphical glitch from my ATI driver in association with my system.
Re-Installed Windows! Downloaded Driver from 2010!
I know what you mean ..... I do not care if I get a warning here ....
I've checked the error between original and not original (hacked Executables). Same result!
It is more a kind of n00b Bug XD Like you said, you got it in the prologue!
2 years with many dlc's but for something like that, they are too bad.

Other Question: Give it a Mass Effect 1 Save Editor ? (gibbed?)
I want to add this HeadCode (ME2) to Mass Effect 1
