 As suggested in this thread, it's a good idea for us as a builder community to work together.  We all have various talents, and rarely do you see a builder who can do everything needed to make a module happen.  So here it is:

If you have a request for something that you need done in a module project, be it writing, scripting, custom models or textures, area design, etc., post that request here in the following format:

Project Name
Project Request (please keep this to one or two)
What you can trade for the service.
Best form of contact for those interested.

Please also try to keep this thread as clean as possible, so minimize discussion or debate. If you want to discuss a particular request, PM the person.

I'll try to keep a running content list of all requests, so people can find things easier.

 I'll start things rolling by making a simple request:  

Jabberwock Model

I need a Jabberwock.  Many of you know that I've been working on Jabberwocky for quite a while and really to make this module something interesting, you can't just use the stock creatures for something so special as the main focus of the module.  A custom model is required.  I do have a custom model that is available on Turbo Squid that I'd even be willing to buy, if someone is willing to commit the time to getting it in game.

In return, I'll make you an area.  Anything you want.

Request: Silverymoon Exterior
I'm building a Silver Marches PW and Silverymoon is to be the centerpiece of it all. I need an area that truly deserves the title 'Gem of the North'. The area should be split up into multiple districts to maintain the impression of its size while remaining multiplayer friendly. I am also willing to accept other Silver Marches locales such as Sundabar, Citadel Feldbarr, Mithril Hall, Deadsnows, or others!

Services for trade: Scripting, UI development, Dialog
I love to code and am capable enough with GIMP to create any icons or other elements that may be needed for a truly custom UI. If you need a set of spells, abilities, or feats done I can likely do it. I'm also comfortable crafting NPC dialog, given a general idea of where to go with it.

PM me with details on what you want and what you can offer and we can hash something out!

I am in need of some creatures that do not appear to be in the toolset or Pain's monster pack.
In particular, any or all of the following: Ankheg, Ettin, Mist Horror, Otyugh, Fire or Ice Salamander, Ice or Sea Troll, or Wolfwere.

-Wyrin's WPM had a otyugh, he used the xorm appearance included in pain's misc pack. He may have added a sef to it but I don't remember.

Great to see that this thread has actually taken off!

I think Hellfire was working on an Ankheg for the Baldur's Gate remake. Apparently he's retired now but AFAIK the model was much of the way done so I would hope it will still emerge at some point (and it's kinda necessary for BGR, too).

I for one could probably do with trading scripting and the like for areas, but I'm not quite at the stage to be building the storyline anyway so I'll wait and get things in order first.

Thanks. Yes I saw the werewolf; I suppose the current werewolf form would serve in a pinch. But to me the Xorn and the Otyugh look quite different, although they both have multiple limbs. The Troll is tintable, but it already has a green cast so it is difficult to get that blue-white hue. Maybe a simple reskin would work.

I was tinkering with the creature templates this weekend. It kind of looks like the Gnoll models would make for a surprisingly good likeness of a Wolfwere; they actually look a little more like the latter than the former. Just a slight rescale combined with fiddling with the tint and they should work.

One other: a fleshy-hued Clay Golem makes a pretty good likeness of a Flesh Golem.

If you want a copy of my flesh golem let me know I can make a dropbox file for you. It is a ghast model rescaled with a custom SEF that adds a glow map and dripping blood. The model also has a custom (re-tinted) icon.

I've tried exactly that - some dark tints hide the spots, and a slight lengthening of the model creates a longer snout (and a less broad hyaena-like head). You can get rid of most of the clothing too. The result is far more werewolf-like than the midget were-badger with boobs that we're otherwise stuck with.

Unfortunately you're stuck with the earrings - although a bit of creative work on the alpha mask of the skin might render them invisible. If you're doing that, then you might as well reskin the model completely though.

I guess what I could use would be some artwork and icons. I've been making icons myself and I like to feel they're fairly decent, but they're mostly recoloured or modified existing ones. I think what I need most is a race banner for the Half-Oni and an icon, and it'd be nice to have the same for the Half-Jorogumo (using the Drow ones atm which work well enough, though).

If there's anyone out there who enjoys making icons, I wouldn't mind a few spell icons too - mostly Suggestion and Mordenkainen's Private Sanctum, but I'm taking offers on such extras as Shillelagh, Contingency and Call Woodland Beings (from BG - should look a bit like a curly horn).

In exchange I can write you scripts, make you blueprints, potentially write some dialogue or script up a little quest or something (don't think I'll do it for one icon though!), maybe even do some GUI work, reskin things (though if you're making icons I imagine you'll be more artistic than me), do visual effects, or hook you up with some of my top-secret campaign work... oooh!
EDIT: I could probably write you a BG mod too, if you want, or maybe even do programming (though I'm not very good).

Fred, i have a lot of spell icons now for CSL, already have most of the spell id's reserved.

or the actual icons and the scripts for any i've got partially done were pm'd to you a while back.

While not a trade, as long as the spell is the spell the icon is for, you can use any of these i've completed. I don't want my icons used for spells they were not designed for, as that could confuse players who hop servers, or use different projects if they learn a given icon should be a given spell, but if you do mords mansion, you can use my mords mansion spell icon with your version of that spell.

If you do a spell so it's a well done script, with visuals and the whole nine yards, i'd like to use it, and convert it so it uses my CSL hooked spells system after your version is complete. I guess that could be a trade, but then i'm more about getting things implemented and wish there could be more collaboration since these are things we all need anyway.

If it's not completed here 2nd or last section, and you'd like an icon for it, tell me and i'll move it higher up on the priority list. Shillelagh is already in my list so i can do that next time i do icons.

I am eventually doing all the pnp spells, which seem doable. If you are doing the script for a spell on the not completed list, i'd prefer to use what is already done- quite a few of these are already using content from kaedrin, spell compendium(NWN1 project), PRC ( NWN1 project again ), or my own scripts entirely, but i also have a lot them i just have not gotten to yet. ( i will adjust it to work in the overall CSL hooked spells system ).

I meant to say Pain I cracked open your icons zip and had a look at it and there are some neat ones there, but it was Suggestion and Mord's Mansion (can't say MMM as that could be Melf's Minute Meteors...) I was most after and I didn't see you had the latter in there. Obviously icon consistancy is something which I'd really like - even if spells do different things on different games, having the same ones having the same icons, and not using those icons for different things, would be ideal.

Suggestion I was going to make a conversation-only spell, and Mord's Mansion would hook nicely into my resting system, so they wouldn't need any scripting as per say, and anyway they mightn't behave the same in other people's modules if they aren't using the same system(s). The others were really just ones I'd kinda like to have, but they're not crucial and they would hopefully work the same from mod to mod. BartjeD has Contingency in the Wicked Magic pack but I don't think he has an icon and anyway I'd like to have a bash at making a UI for it if I get around to it. The others wouldn't be anything special, stuff like Shillelagh would just be nice since I'm building a low-level campaign and I've been neglecting Druids.

EDIT: Shillelagh would actually be pretty easy, you could just use a club icon as a base. I could do that myself. I don't really know what Suggestion might look like, though - maybe a person talking? I don't know what you're planning on doing with Rusting Grasp but I had thought to do it myself through the same mechanics as the Rust Monster.

What I really want is a race banner, but that's another issue.

This is a good idea for a thread. I'll toss in what I'd like to see.

Custom Model: Sheep

Actually, it wouldn't have to necessarily be a custom model if someone could do a really, really good job on a retexture of some other animal to make it look like a sheep. I think that would be possible with an excellent job on the bump map. Perhaps a little tweaking to the model.

In return, what could I offer? Heh. I'm not sure. I can do a lot of things decently, but I'm no expert at any of them. I can do areas (mainly exterior) and custom icons fairly well.
