What Would Be More Useful to the Community? 1.24 Patch or Source Code Released?

Please go there and vote.  Read the first post and then vote and explain.  Please don't debate the merits (or percieved lack) in the thread.  Take those either offline or into a new thread for open debate.  This thread is for garnering the support and how much of it there might be for us to make this request.
