This thread is not about whether same-sex romance is moral or not, but about the practicality of it being implanted in ME3.

How would this be implanted in ME3?  I have heard some say that all of the party members should be Bi, however that means, if say i wanted to play a male shepard but not have romance, i would not only have to choose carefully when talking to females (which i had to do in the previous games), but also the males as well.

So how would you implant same-sex romance in ME3?

Make all the pary members Bi?  Or only a few?  Or perhaps have an opition before you start the game, in whether you want same-sex romance on or off.

I also don't like the idea Garrus suddenly starting to hit on me, when he was showing no interest in the previous 2 games if i played as a male shepard.

This really should be in the character forum, and it probably will end there before the day is out, anyway. I will say that just because a person doesn't interest in you before, doesn't mean they don't have any interest in you, or that it's impossible for feelings to change and develop over time.

I think Kaidan and Ashley are the only same-sex romances, my opinion, though. And I'm sure Bioware is working on ways to show you're not interested in the other character, with the more in-depth characters. So yeah, there's that. And if they show interest, remember: No means no.

Think if people don't want same sex or any romance they'll have to watch what they say but idk.

The problem is the name of this thread might imply he is about to go on a rant about "gays are bad"

Ninjamancing is a valid concern, but the title is misleading.

You mean we'll actually have to THINK about which dalogue options we pick during conversations instead of blindly selecting the upper or lower right option when there is no red and blue option? Outrageous!!!

What's next ?  Reading Emotions? Roleplaying?? Thinking during combat???
God Bioware is SO ruining this...

Or maybe just "My problem with same-sex romances in ME3" Solves a lot of problems and involves less typing from you.

I suggest you fix the whole OP and title of this thread, if this is about ninjamances. 'Cause we all know how annoying those are. Make it less about same-sex and more about LI's in general. 'Cause your problem ain't with same-sex LI's, it's with LI's in general.

That said, aren't you supposed to think before making any choices?

Mac Walters has mentioned on Twitter that, "Some, but not all characters will be available for same sex relationships."

The same applies for everyone.

What if they make Kasumi a LI in ME3 when she showed no interest in Sheploo, or Femshep in ME2?

What if they make Zaeed a LI in ME3 when she showed no interest in Sheploo, or Femshep in ME2?

What if they make Joker a LI in ME3 when she showed no interest in Sheploo, or Femshep in ME2?

What if they make Samara a LI in ME3 when she showed no interest in Sheploo, or Femshep in ME2?

It has nothing to do with whether they're straight, gay or bi.

Also Samara did have interest.

I really don't have a problem with possible "ninjamancing", since I'm careful in deciding what I want to say anyway, not matter what the topic or situation.

Only problem I have with the whole thing is that they waited until the 3rd game to do it, and people who were one way, or had no interest you or such things for two games wake up the morning of the reaper attack completely new people.

The argument on both ends kinda have this mindset that "You hate gays!" or "you just want everyone to be gay!"

its more complex than that. For my 2 cents on it I simply don't want established as straight characters going Bi on me just to please you.
Oh someones going to come on here and say "nothing to worry about there because there are no established straight characters" BS! I've said it before and I'll say it again some of the characters have been nothing but straight throughout. Garrus and Thane especially. Garrus talks about female Krogan flexibility like sharing his sex stories with his buds. Thane was married and has kid what more proof do you need? Why is it that the only way to establish that a character is straight is that for them to flat out say "I am straight Commander I like the opposite sex"
Thats awkward to bring up no matter how you slice it.
That said some flexibility (no pun intended) can be found here. Kelly is easily Bi if anyone even cares about her. Its possible that some of them are Bi and have kept it close to their chests.
As it stands I'm not against Gay or Bi romances. Hell I'm seriously considering doing a M/M romance in one of my playthroughs and I'm a full straight dude.
But by wanting all romancable characters to be all Bi is to invite DA2's romance all over again.
