considering we're a social and sexual species, the idea of not teaching teens (and pre-teens) about sex is the dumbest thing we've done to our kids. The less kids kno, the more they find out on their own the wrong way.

lollll.....my mom's a doctor, I knew all I needed to know long before I got to junior high and because of that, I didn't go off and get an STD....now these kids today....maaannnnnnnn....i'm only 24 years old and these music videos make me feel old....

I'd buy this if you were talking about all the romances and not focusing on the s/s "issue." You can only romance one submissive space babe at a time, you know.Made Nightwing wrote...

Well, never meant to get caught up in this thread anyway. No offense was intended to any member of the homosexual community with whose views I disagree.
To sum it up: Can we please be able to set our Shepard's sexuality, or can we have Romance and Friendship paths clearly marked? Equality for all sexualities!
We also don't want a lack of dialogue with the male characters like Kaidan just because we aren't romancing them. My FemSheps wanted to talk more with Garrus and Thane, but didn't get anything because they weren't romancing them on that particular playthrough. It applies to all the romances, not just S/S ones.

*rapssy peeks back in* oh, yeah @Nightwing...that was suckage. I wanna get to know them even if they're just my "bros". In ME2 I stayed faithful, so they were all my bros....and you really do miss out on convo and backstory.

This post is not directed 100% towards you Made Nightwing, your just the most recent poster to post this issue.
No one is against what has been bolded.
If you think someone is you are mistaken having been lied to by homphobic bigots who say we want every Shepard to be gay or you are lying to troll us.
It's also not a gay problem, it's a ROMANCE problem regardless of sexual orientation.
Lemme say it again so it's crystal clear. It's a ROMANCE problem regardless of sexual orientation.
The only difference is the not anti-gay romance crowd doesn't act like a bunch of freaking sissies when they get hit on or accidentaly romance someone they want to.
ETA: I see Made Nightwing has clarified his position before I posted. My points still stands, just not against him at all.

If you really went to a quality Catholic school, those nuns would have beat proper grammar into you so that no matter what you were doing, it'd be correct.Rocket_Man77 wrote...
thank you, grammar police. If I was writing a college report, I would have done a better job. I will try harder next time. Thank you again Professor Tasmen.
I know I write in script because of it.

If you have to try to write with correct grammar, you still didn't have a very great education.Rocket_Man77 wrote...

Y'know? I think that IS what I'm worried about. When the time comes to choose between friendship and romance though, I'd ask that it be a side by side choice, friendship on the left, romance on the right or vice versa, rather than a paragon, renegade choice with the consequent point adjustments. I never understood why I got half a dozen renegade points just because I turned down Tali.

That is a pet peeve of mine as well. One thing I liked about DA2 was that it allowed the player to develop a close friendship with a chararacter even if s/he was a LI you didn't romance. I believe everyone should be able to develop close relationships with the cast even if the player chooses to romance no one.

Took the bottom, if you take the middle, she keeps coming back for more, and I was determined to stay true to Ashley, no matter how adorable Tali's voice is.

all of the countries shown are countries where religion has been around for thousands of years. In these country's religion, homosexuality is wrong. It is going to probably take decades or a century before they change there tolerance. Not everyone over in the middle east is going to change Ideals that were created centuries ago.
I come from Scotland. I went to a Catholic school. We first had an official written down code of law in 1124 A.D. under King David I. We have been Christian since the fourth century A.D. and continue to be a Christian country. No law in this counry today allows the torture or abuse, verbal or other wise, of anyone who is gay.
Not one page in the Catechism allows for homosexuals to be treated in such a manner, they may be considered sinners but they are God's children just as much as anyone else. To suggest otherwise or to make excuses for anyone to be treated in such a manner is discusting.

As was said before, if you really went to a Catholic school, you wouldn't even have to try. It'd be second nature to type in near perfect grammar. You should see the way I text message.Rocket_Man77 wrote...
