all of the countries shown are countries where religion has been around for thousands of years. In these country's religion, homosexuality is wrong. It is going to probably take decades or a century before they change there tolerance. Not everyone over in the middle east is going to change Ideals that were created centuries ago.
I come from Scotland. I went to a Catholic school. We first had an official written down code of law in 1124 A.D. under King David I. We have been Christian since the fourth century A.D. and continue to be a Christian country. No law in this counry today allows the torture or abuse, verbal or other wise, of anyone who is gay.
Not one page in the Catechism allows for homosexuals to be treated in such a manner, they may be considered sinners but they are God's children just as much as anyone else. To suggest otherwise or to make excuses for anyone to be treated in such a manner is discusting.
Some of the countries shown above, where countries in Africa. Some of the people that live in Africa are tribal, and follow a religion that has been unchanged for thousands and thousands of years. For them to just change! That will take time.
