also, isnt it a bit backwards to force a straight character to be gay?

I should really just save a copypaste of all the times ME2 casually forced my homosexual male Shepard to imply heterosexuality... <_<

Has any of the chars came out and said we are not gay/lesbian/bisexual if not then there is no problem?

They have not.

In my FemShep game, Ashley could be asexual for all I know...

And Miranda just unsuccessfully uses dudes to get pregnant.

Why should it differ beyond pronouns?  Though, it should differ if we are talking about starting a new romance with them (which has been confirmed for some) vs. doing a continuing romance.   But the new romance shouldn't differ too much based on gender.

Just make it a drunken experience in the beginning of ME3, before the Reaper attack. An awkward situation that gets a bit shadowed by the fact that the universe is burning.

"Make all the pary members Bi? Or only a few? Or perhaps have an opition before you start the game, in whether you want same-sex romance on or off."

Well, I'd rather want an option to switch off the heterosexual romances.

lol. no I just think it's stupid of straight gamers to call for a toggle just to turn off homosexual content. None of them asks for a toggle to switch off homosexual "or" heterosexual content. As if they think that they have the right to claim something like this "against homosexuality", because they're the majority.

I'm sure Bioware knows what they're doing, I imagine they'll be reasonably conservative given the absence of such an option in the first two games. From what I've seen the Ash/Kaidan thing seems to have been accepted without significant uproar in pursuit, and they might expand on the Kelly sub-plot as well. That in conjunction with a new guy and doll is bearable.

However I can't see any of the ME2 initiated romances being altered at this late stage, that's REALLY stretching peoples' ability to suspend their disbelief. It would meet justified opposition.

Run for your damn lives...THEY'RE FREE!

I say only new LI's because their sexuality and personalities haven't already been established (except Liara).

Considering that it looks like the ME2-only characters are only going to have limited screen time in ME3 due to the fact that they could be dead, I would be SHOCKED if they were made s/s options in ME3. Any romances with them will probably be restricted to continuing the ME2 ones, a la LotSB. I suspect that any NEW romances will be limited to the permanent squad members.

Seriously this thread is still going.remove LI of all kinds and this quagmire wouldnt continue.
last post ill have for this

Im sure not every character is being turned into a "bi" romance option.and since people are more intense with there choice of "li" i believe BW has put thought into, also probably have consider making an option for a good ol'time instead of worrying about romancing.least one would hope

even if every character is "bi" now so what.pay attention to the converstation and dailog choice and you wont be upset/uncomfortable by a cut scene.theres this organic device call a brain if you use it,then you wont have an issue towards this engagement.

Done

Random user 1: "Why Garrus is flirting with me?"
Random user 2: "What did you say to him?"
Random user 1: "Oh... that I wanted to test his reach in my quarters"

Use the small living forms called neurons, people. If you don't want to have sex with a squadmate don't choose the dialogue option --> "Break my ****"

If there's ever a dialogue option that says ""Break my ****" I'm picking it. Without hesitation and the consequences be damned. Even if that means getting bottomed by Garrus and Grunt simultaneously.

Too late for that.

I think it is too late for any of this arguing to have a point besides working off personal frustrations, as Bioware has a clear plan by now and is sticking to it.

It is unlikely they are going to change anything now.

Exactly. What  should be discussed is how to best implement it, and to also discuss the sub subject of ninjamances, and how they should be completely killed with fire.

I didn't like that you couldn't just have Kelly feed your fish, and remain single.
