a too pro-human stance is too aggressive and is just not practical with all the life out there in the mass effect universe. it comes off as short-sighted and is a quick fix for a longterm issue.

I don't agree. I think it's natural to want to look out for your own species, because no one else is going to look out for your benefit.

If I accept any sort of wisdom in the ME universe, it's Kaidan's realisation of just how 'human' aliens really are. If that's the case, then there has to be a selfish **** out there like me who isn't a human but has pro species-x slant for themselves, thus necessitating my pro-humanist stance in itself.

keeping collector base is more pro-galaxy because it will help fight the reapers. I think it should have been switched

How is DOING EXACTLY WHAT TIM ASK, which is keeping the collector base to GIVE IT TO CERBERUS pro-galaxy?

It's the most pro-human decision in the entire game! It's pro-human to the core!

I'ts pro-galaxy. Cause you want to use that tech to SAVE THE GALAXY.

I might agree if we weren't handing it over to a human centric terrorist organization with a xenophobic reputation.  My Shepard is concerned that TIM won't stop at the Reapers he will use it against other species in the galaxy.

1) Reapers take precedence. You can deal with cerberus later

2) Cerberus will get b****slapped if tehy even tried something sos stupid

3) TIM isn't so stupid.

Guy GUYS, the reason keeping the base was renegade was because we would be using Reaper tech, and we know that's exactly what the Reapers want - we do develop along the lines they desire.

Yeah he is, he says when you destroy the base: "It would have helped secure human DOMINANCE in galaxy!". So yeah, all he lacks is villain mustache. What you think happens when Cerberus gets edge over everyone else? Don't be so naïve.

Yeah, this is something that I noticed too.

My FemShep is a pro-Council/Citadel renegade.

She saved the Destiny Ascension (sacrificing the Council would be one thing, they can be replaced swiftly, but half the firepower of the entire Asari fleet is worth preserving) in the first game and preserved the base in the second.

She's under no illusions regarding TIM, but stopping the Reapers is more important than putting down Cerberus right now. Maybe the base will start indoctrinating people, maybe it won't... but indoctrination is going to start happening the minute the Reapers show up anyway, so she figures it's a risk worth taking. What's more, this is -- apparently, though it could be a trap -- the first time another race has stolen Reaper tech that they didn't want anyone else to have.

Of course, she knows it might all blow up in her face, but she had to make a call under pressure and she did. Second guessing herself isn't her style.

That's basic mass relay travel tech you foo.
To be dependant on their relays means they can track and isolate us.

at no point did tehy want us to go digging trough their insides and figure out their best tech.

Why are you so naive and so quick to apply black/white mentality?

Look up dominance in the dictonary bub. It doens't mean inslavement, and neither can TIM pull it off. Puny Cerberus can't take over the untold billions.

No I'm not naïve, just repeating what the character himself said. And where did I say that it means enslavement? Just saying: he IS THAT stupid. It didn't sound like he was ready to share, you know?
