Tried searching for something similar but didn't find that would help me clarify. Ok, I
was playing Dragon Age: Origins - Darkspawn Chronicles. When I finished
it I was supposed to earn two achievements. As soon as it made the
sound of the first one unlocking my Xbox froze. Turned it off and back
on and noticed I was missing one. Played the DLC again and didn't unlock
anything and after a couple of tries I gave up. Did a search and the
achievement am still missing is buggy, people had trouble with it.
Followed some tips like deleting saves, DLC, recovering my tag, playing
on other Xbox and nothing. Also I noticed it showed in my profile here as earned, but it never registered on the Xbox. The question is: Can an achievement glitch if
your game freezes? And no matter what you do it will not unlock because
the system/game believes you already have it? Is it just bugged and
it will eventually unlock? Will asking to delete my profile allow me to earn it again?

As I understand it there is an achievement in Darkspawn Chronicles which is bugged, but that's the one about keeping the ogre alive I think.

In your case it sounds very much that there was an interruption; more so as you claim that your profile here on the forums shows it being unlocked. To be honest I doubt altering your profile here would do anything for your 360. I could be wrong though that's my belief.

Often it seems re-earning the achievement helps, though it is by no means certain.

That's the one, the one about keeping the ogre alive. I've done it so many times, making sure of picking the right one and not letting him die but it just won't unlock.

Uncertain if this or this will be of any help to you. Those are more about the achievement glitching/bugging out, but it's something to go on.
