I'm still not getting why she has to be loyal at all to be honest with you.

He wants to have the Romance be a one night stand......heck of a way to break up.

I was wondering if the Romance would still count if she died and if any issue would be made over the death of your romance in ME3, but it's impossible for Miranda. I'll try it with another!

I would be careful with who you kill off, because they won't be back for ME3. :)

I think the reason Miranda acts like a B***H sometimes is because of her scarred childhood. She was basically a tool that her father created, and she is obviously upset about that (who wouldn't be upset).

Yeah I agree. She's my canon romance, still not sure what I'll do given the choice in ME3 since I also romanced Ashley. But I can't stand it when Ash goes into poetry mode.

I've got a fair amout of playthroughs, but I did want one where a love interest died after the love scene, to see if it has any affect on anything. But it won't work for Miranda, she's impossible to kill when loyal.
Maybe I'll try a Female Shep and kill off a roamnced Jacob for saying the priiiizzzeee...

Just tossing this in 'cause I can:

If I knew I was created to be perfect; that I would live almost twice as long as everyone else I know, that I was engineered to be more beautiful than most, and that I was basically the peak of my species's evolution, I sure as hell wouldn't be upset, I'd be estatic!

And if my father was an elitist bastard who wanted to enslave me? I'd do what Miranda did; get the hell out of there and never look back. Just move on and enjoy that fact that I, quite literally, am better than everyone else. :P

This is pretty much all I read.

TBQH, I never really liked Miranda, she always came across as way too control freaky and I got the distinct impression she felt entitled to that control in large part because of her genes. And if that IS the case, in my opinion, she is no better than anybody else in human history who believed that genetic superiority entitled them to more than the other guy.

Also, Shepard could totally kick Miranda's perfectly engineered *** (with the way her father is described, it was probably engineered to be perfectly kickable) even before Lazarus, showing that effort and human will trumps genetics. Which I'm also pretty sure is the moral lesson behind Gattaca.

They kind of visit on this in the game dialogue / I'm not sure how it's spelled out for other backgrounds, but with my Earthborn FemShep I recall Miranda remarking about how Shepard came from nothing and is still considered to be the pinnacle of humanity.
