Between-Game Maturing

For instance, Tali in the first game was a pretty shallow and unsatisfying character in my book. I'm not saying she was INCREDIBLE in the second game, but she was definitely interesting and someone who wasn't a chore to learn about. Garrus also seemed deeper, though to less of an extent. What little time we had with Ashley, on the other hand, made it seem as though she had changed very little.
Do you guys think that the returning squaddies in ME3 will have developed? Admittedly, there is less of a time difference than two years between ME2 and ME3, but I'm hoping for some new reveals into returning characters. What do you guys wanna see?

I saw the change in Garrus too, but it felt more familiar to ME1 for me. In retrospect, I felt like he became an old man, tired of the world.
I read - somewhere - that the writers will bring maturity and character development to the companions so I'm pretty excited!!! March can't come any sooner!!! ^^

Honestly Garrus seemed to have developed the least out of other ME1 characters, at least out of the ones that had more than 5 minutes of screen time.
He basicaly learned nothing from ME1! I had to set him straight again.

Garrus should calibrate less and talk more. And he keeps too many damn things to himself.

I sure do hope that Ashley and/or Kaidan are brought in new light in ME3. I understand why BioWare did the cheap copout regarding them in ME2, but the thing was definitely overdone.

Garrus digressed sense I tried to para him in ME him turning up vigilante stalker was disturbingly shocking here I was thinking we worked that out of him and he's doing it all again! Love wise an unexpected add I thought no way! When I saw that I could trigger a relationship with him. Tali was a pleasant rumor that happened to turn up true Garrus was a surprise I gambled on. Honestly I figured neither where interested in shep nor would ever be made into LI I figured you had Ash, Kaiden, Liara, and that would be all for the whole series these two were introduced as LI in the series at the right time.

There was no digression there, he was impressionable and green in ME1, in ME2 he had conviction and his own personal goals and beliefs instead of looking outwardly for someone else to give them to him.Destroy Raiden wrote...

I would assume the VS will have changed
a lot since ME1. In ME2 we didn't have time to see anything other than
shock from them, but by ME3 they're a Spectre. I would assume they
earned that and whatever they've been doing has changed them, even made
them more of a leader, although as Spectres that might not be necessary.
It'd be interesting if they were conflict between Shep and them a bit
since the VS won't be used to taking orders. That could get
interesting.
Like I've said when others have suggested this, they are unpopular enough as it is. lol relax VS fanatics, I know your sharpening your pitchforks, but you its true, they are very unpopular among the general audience. BW is trying to make them more popular, at least we've seen that with Ashley with the redesign. She instantly got a popularity boost when that Game Informer article dropped, but that would all be undone if they dare to question the might Shepard. I think the reaction to the Horizon situation is proof enough.

He's the silent type. Read his shadow broker dossier, there was good character development in that.jreezy wrote...

Liara is the one that changed the most. Next is Tali. Garrus is just Garrus. Someone you can trust to have your back. Same with Wrex.

I've read it. Solana must be his sister. I wonder if we'll meet her in Mass Effect 3 when we go to Palaven. She could be tied to a quest involving Garrus which would be great for his development.Malanek999 wrote...

We very well might get a mission like that. Both for Garrus and other members of the crew. I think it was a question asked at the Q&A from the Gamescon today. I could be wrong though. Just what I heard.jreezy wrote...

Be great if we did though.
